Can't turn on/off fields in a review template??

Hi I'm trying to add custom fields to a review template. I can add a new field, but when I go to 'edit' in the review template link and try to turn the field on/off I get the error message that the template is in use by reviews. 



It seems that if a template is in use by a review, I can't turn on a custom field that I want to add to the template. What is the best practice to add the field, do I need to shut down all the reviews using the template I want to edit?

    Thanks team at smart bear. Turns out this is a data integrity feature, so you have to create another review and can't change one that is already in use. Also looks like the next version lets you copy the fields from the old template into the new one, which would be useful.
