Packed with performance upgrades, a more streamlined UI, and expanded Rich Text Editing. This release brings a range of UI and usability enhancements to QMetry, delivering a smoother and more responsive experience. Why This Matters Improves day-to-day speed and responsiveness, especially in large projects with deep folder structures. Reduces scrolling and clicking to get to the actions teams use most, on both list and detail screens. Gives teams richer formatting options for documentation and test artifacts, without needing to touch HTML. Strengthens security with the latest framework-level protections against common web threats. Key Highlights Angular 21 UI Upgrade – A modernized framework foundation that improves performance and sets up upcoming UI enhancements. Always-Visible Actions – Row actions on list screens and primary actions (Create, Save, Cancel, Update) on forms now stay pinned in place, cutting down on scrolling. Faster Test Case Folder Navigation and Test Step Editing – Both load and respond faster, especially in large projects with deep folder hierarchies. Improved Navigation and Form Controls – Consistent scrolling and toolbar behavior, resizable columns, larger linking screens, and a repositionable QQBot make everyday navigation smoother. Expanded Rich Text Editor Capabilities – New formatting options for large text fields, including headings, font size, text color and highlight, code blocks, and nested lists. Source Edit is deprecated in this release. Also in this release: updates to the Custom XML Automation Template introduced in 8.27, including default execution status mapping and support for aborted and skipped statuses.
