Full page response time on the dashboard
we do not see full page response time on the dashboard, whereas what we get is Last response of the monitor. is there any way to include full page response time to dashboard. Please implement this feature, this will help the clients to understand the full-page load time without drilling down to the details.725Views5likes4CommentsLarge file uploads and drag/drop
Hello AlertSite gurus, I'm struggling to figure out how to test performance of a large file upload into my web application - by large I mean 50MB but would occasionally like to go 1GB+. I'd also like to be able to test a large (250 file) drag and drop of <500Kb files. Does anyone have experience of getting this to work ? there seem to be limits on filesize for dejaclick but I haven't been able to find much documentation about that. Many thanks for any help, suggestions or pointers. Have a great day. Bert.439Views0likes0CommentsDejaClick 2.7.7.3

PRICE field appends 0.00
hi All. I am using AlertSite to create test macros. I have recorded a Macro to place an order on a site. I cant figure out how to change the value in the PRICE field, whose default values are 0.00 in the Macro I overwrite the 0.00 with lets say 250, but when I replay the Macro the value of that field becomes 0.00250 Can any one please suggest what to do in this case? thank you!567Views1like0CommentsConfigure Pause time duration prior to Local Retry
Local retry and Global Verify Tests are immediately scheduled following the initial failure that triggered the run in production testing. AlertSite today does not have a feature in place to pause the test for a duration of time before the next retry begins. The issue we have is when the AlertSite DejaClick script encounters a failure due to say a network blip, the retry is immediate. For some tests we would rather delay the Retry a few seconds. This would benefit the support team by not sending out alert notifications for false positives.1KViews0likes1CommentAbility to open browser as specific user (to validate SSO)
It would be beneficial if there is an option toopen browser as specific user that will enable us to validate SSO scenario just like how an enterprise end user would access an application. If we are including the login process as part of transaction, then we are not actually emulating the end user and hence this functionality is much required for several use cases that we have.686Views2likes0CommentsDejaClick 2.7.1
DejaClick 2.7.1 hit the Chrome and Firefox extension stores this week. It includes some bug fixes and two new features. Browser Version Switching You can now select specific browser versions when uploading monitors or executing a Test on Demand. This aligns DejaClick with the platform version switching that was released last week. Manually Insert Step Breaks You can now split a step into multiple steps to better capture the behavior of functions that are not seen as steps in traditional DejaClick recordings. Elevating a group of events to step level will allow you take advantage of step level alerting and reporting for that function. It will also be useful in conjunction with our upcoming Step Level SLA functionality (SPOILER ALERT!). Inserting step breaks is as simple as choosing "Insert Step Break" from the gear icon on the relevant event row in the DejaClick recorder.859Views0likes0CommentsDejaClick 2.7.0

We're happy to announce that we've begun rolling out Chrome 85 to the public monitoring network. By the end of the year, the rollout will be complete and Chrome 85 will be the default browser for DejaClick monitors. The very small number of monitors that have issues playing back on 85 will be set to version 74 when the default switches to 85. We've also added the ability to select browser versions, you can do this on the Advanced tab in monitor configuration. You'll have a choice of Default, Chrome 85, and Chrome 74. For nearly all monitors, we recommend staying with the default and moving to 85 with the platform. If your monitors are having significant issues with 85, we'll be reaching out to you in early 2021. Chrome 85 and Version Switching will be coming to Private Nodes in version 3.3, which will begin rollout in the 2nd half of January.802Views0likes0Comments
