Consequences of removing Zyphyr from Jira software
Hello, I would like to receive an answer to the following 2 questions: 1. What happens when the Zephyr license is removed from Jira? Is it possible to access Zephyr information (tests, connection to bugs) with read-only access? 2. What happens if you also completely remove the plugin from Jira? Can the information be read-only? Thanks in advance.363Views0likes1CommentWhat would cause a Jira JQL, that uses ZQL, to run extremely slow?
Greetings community. I'm Jeramy and I'm the Atlassian Administrator for a software company that makes logistics software. Lately, we've noticed a huge performance issue when running Jira JQL's that contain ZQL code inside of them. We are running Jira in Azure, with multi-node configuration, and on the latest hardware (each VM has 32 GB of ram and a new Intel processor). We are on Zephyr Squad version:9.3.0.93009768. When I tested a JQL search, it took almost two minutes to return the results. However, if I take out the ZQL part, it takes seconds to retrieve the data. What else can I post here that might help? Thanks!180Views0likes0CommentsBDD and JIra Data Center
We have Zephyr Squad installed to work with our Data Center instance of Jira. I am wanting to us BDD to help define our Test Cases. How can I do this? However, t appears that BDD is NOT supported in the Data Center version. Is an update planned to add BDD support? Could I use another tool to create BDD feature scenarios? Thanks.239Views0likes0CommentsHow to submit a feature request?
Hi! We love to hear what you have to say about Zephyr Squad, especially improvements that can make the app work better for you. That’s why we created a public area to collect these ideas and share our own with you. Click on thislinkto access the Zephyr Squad roadmap. We encourage you to vote, comment on existing ideas, or create new ones. Our product management team conducts regular reviews of ideas. The displayed ideas are those we identified as the most important and possible to develop. After you created a new idea, you won’t see it in the roadmap. The product team will review it and possibly map it with other existing ideas. We consider every idea you send to us. First, we consolidate them internally. Then we include them on the roadmap if we find they have potential. Thank you! Upon clicking on Execute "the small E button" in the test cycle list, the user will see a blank page with a Jira header on top. This is happening across browsers like Edge, Chrome and Firefox. Sometimes it works after clearing the cache/cookie but sometimes doesn't. Hence the issue is intermittent. The issue is also applicable to all projects within Jira. Currently, the running Zephyr version is 8.1.0.81009673.428Views0likes1CommentIs it possible to set a custom field value fo a test step in a specific issue by using the rest api?
I would like to set the value of a custom field in a test step of a specific test issue. You can define values for fields in test steps in the gui, but is it possible by api too? If yes, how? Can anyone provide an example?340Views0likes0CommentsHow can I produce a list of all the projects actively using Zephyr?

Hi! We recently migrated our Jira Server 8.5.2 Instance into a Jira DC 8.20.11 DC Instance. During the Migration (usinf Configuration Manager), only the Test Cases without the Test Cycles were import in the DC Instance. So I am looking for a way to import the Test Cycles also. Test Cycles can be exported via the Jira GUI manually in the Server Instance but I didn't find a Way to import them into the DC Instance. How can this be done ? I also would like to do this whole Process via a Script using ZAPI or the likes. I foundhttps://getzephyr.docs.apiary.io/but I don't see how to export/import Test Cycles via ZAPI API. Any hints on how to accomplish this, would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance, Hans392Views0likes0Comments
