Zephyr - Need feature to track audit logs by Project
Hello team, We are having difficulty to filter out audit logs from Zephyr UI. We have the option to search by Entity, Operation, User & date range. This search won't help us to find out logs where different project related activities performed across the Zephyr Instance. So in this case, we need to export logs in excel and search logs by project. It will be good if we have a project filter in Audit logs, where we can have results by project as well.
JIRA-Zephyr BDD testcase naming consistent with ZE Vortex automation.
Probelm Statement : There is test case name inconsistency between JIRA BDD plugin and ZE Vortex automation. In case if a scenario has 2 Examples table rows, then JIRA BDD plugin will create 2 test cases with identical test names, e.g. "scenario" and "scenario". While in case if test cases are being created through Vortex for the same type of scenario, they will have different names, e.g. "scenario" and "scenario 2". For Cucumber 7 which we are using right now in our framework, here is the naming conventions: “Scenario - Example #1.1”, “Scenario - Example #1.2”, etc. Previous version of JIRA BDD Plugin, it was creating test cases for all Examples table rows with the SAME name, which was inconstant with how Cucumber default JUnit report was doing, which was giving some indexing to each test case name. Due to this , when we are executing BDD testcase created (containing exdample tables) from JIRA using zephyr, results being attched to same testcase . Hello team, There is no feature currently available in Zephyr to track folder level audit logs. It will be really good to have this feature to include in product. ----------------------- Use Case ----------------------- User has moved or deleted any sub-folder or root folder under "Project Test Repository", which has lot of testcases. But user forgets the location where it's moved to or cannot remember if user deleted this folder accidentally. So, in this case, if we have folder level tracking in Audit logs, we can easily track the details.Zephyr - Need feature to enable/disable testcase & it's test planning/test execution at DB
Hello team, We recently encountered MAJOR issue with Zephyr TA System, where user with priviledged access accidentally deleted folder (having 25000+ testcases) from the folder "Project Test Repository". This resulted all 25k+ testcases removed from Zephyr DB. There is NO way to recover this deleted testcases from previously backed up DB instance as it will impact other applications running on the same instance. Zephyr has option to enable project level backup from UI, but due to application performance issues, we cannot enable it as millions of data is involved & lot of users are actively using this instance. It will be really helpful if Zephyr can provide a feature to enable/disable testcases & it's test execution/test planning in Zephyr DB, so no data loss will be happened in future. Please consider this as MANDATORY enhancement in future release.Zephyr TA System - Need feature to "hide" Project Requirements/Project Test Repository for a release
Hello team, We have a requirement where we need to hide "Project Requirements/Project Test Repository" either at release level or project level. This feature is NOT available in Zephyr TA System. Hello team, As advised, I am raising this feature request as part of future enhancement of Zephyr TA System. User is able to write BDD TC in Zephyr Plugin v1.7.1 & it's reflected to Zephyr v7.10 as well.But there is no way to update TC details in "Test Step" section. All fields are showing as readonly. Thus, unable to update "Expected Results" Or "Test Data" fields in Zephyr TA System. Please make this feature available in Zephyr TA System. It would be better if we can have a mapping for the following fields while tc is written in Zephyr Plugin & reflected to Zephyr TA System. Also should have update option for these fields in Zephyr TA System. Hello team, We are looking for SINGLE Zephyr REST API which can return a list of ALL testcases, test execution history for all these tc along with test steps based on the filter criterialike userId & tc execution date range (from/to). As of now, separateREST API is available to perform these tasks (EXCEPT tc details based on tc execution from/to date). For the same reporting I need details about steps to be included for each testcase.Considering the volume we have, I would have to send 50k+ api calls that wont be efficient way to gather such details. Please consider this as an enhancement request & make it available ASAP. Thanks in advance.
Zephyr - Schedule Automation Testing Capability
Zephyr has the ability to execute Automation Test Runs using TestComplete or TestExecute. This is a useful platform to control test runs and import results into Zephyr. However the Vortex option on Zephyr feels a little under developed. It would be nice to have this developed further to allow the scheuling of test runs. For example:- - Run test 1 - Every Monday at 2am - Run Test 2 - On the 2nd of every money at 2am - Also include a Automation Test Run Execution list of all the jobs scheduled and a log of those executed. Is it possible to include this feature?Add tests to cycle via API
Hello all, I am so sorry to bother you every day. Today I want to add a tests into a test cycle via API. I tried to use the following link https://zfjcloud.docs.apiary.io/#reference/execution/get-execution/add-tests-to-cycle I created a JWT for the endpoint, used the body which is included on the mentioned link, adjusted the values, but I am getting the error"method field is required.". If I saw correctly it is not included in the body. Can you help me with this? As always I am including some screen shots.
