QAComplete - send test sets in a batch
Hello Community, is there a way to to send multiple test sets in one batch. For instance, presently for each release we have to run each test set individually, select the proper release and configuration. Is it possible to run it in one batch?814Views0likes0CommentsTest Runs by Requirement - measuring test coverage
Hello, I'd like to measure the test coverage (%) for individual releases and requirements. I have created the following relations: Release - Requirement Requirement - Test Requirement - Test Set Release - Test Set Eventually, it occurred that filtering in this dashboard doesn't work as expected. Actually it shows all executed runs, Release is not respected. Screen 1: Dashboard: Release filter applied. Screen 2: For a checkI linked only 1 test. Here is the run history of this test. Indeed, in total it was executed 7 times but against this particular Release (TEST-3.2.8) only 1 time. Assuming that this Dashboard chart (Test Runs by Requirement) will provide correct information. I can see absolute numbers only. Is there any Report behind it, I could export as Excel and easy pivot, so to calculate % coverage? Also linking all Tests to Requirements is quite cumbersome. I checked it and it's mandatory to link all Tests. Initially I thought that linking Tests Sets only will suffice. Unfortunately not. It would be a good feature I suppose, since we already have a relation between a Test and a Test Set. How do you measure test coverage, using QA Complete? Thank you very much!670Views0likes0CommentsWhen using Auto-Fill From Recent to create a new Release item, include all old Links with auto-fill
As part of my team's workflow, we will need to create a new Release each week for certain projects, and we would like to have all of the same links from the old Release also be included in the new Release. From that point, we can delete any old links no longer required, and add new links as needed. There is an "Auto-Fill From Recent" feature in QAComplete that allows you to auto-fill most of the information from the old Release into a new Release being created, but this feature does NOT include any links from the old Release. As such, we will have to review the links made in the old Release via the EDIT page or Reports, then manually create all of these links again in the new Release. This can become very time-consuming based on the number of Tests, Test Sets, and Defects that are linked to the old Release. For this feature request post, we would like to have the "Auto-Fill From Recent" feature also include links when filling in a new Release from a recent/old Release.644Views0likes0Comments
