Can we do this through VB script? Do we have any methods to try this approach? I have attached an example screenshot of how the result file will look. As per the example I would like to export Folder0 separately into a different path. Samething for Folder 1 & Folder2. Re: How do we save a folder from testcomplete log file through script Thank youAlexKaras , I have tried the option provided and it did not help.; Re: How do we save a folder from testcomplete log file through script Thank youMarsha_R I will try to create my Own result and see if it works Re: How do we save a folder from testcomplete log file through script Thank youMarsha_R I was able to export it to xml format. When I try to remove the child nodes in xml, the log messages that were generated below it are all deleted from result file. Ex: if I tried to remove all the child nodes of Folder 0, I dont see log messages generated after Folder 0. I tried manually deleting the nodes from the xml file and see the same issue. Is my approach correct or do I need to do something different? Attached is the xml file for reference. Re: How do we save a folder from testcomplete log file through script We can get the xml result only when we run though command line . So I assume , we cannot export part of the log file which I was trying. Thank you for the response Re: How do we save a folder from testcomplete log file through script Thank youMarsha_R for the reply. All the Test log is from one Script /Test item. So when i use Log.Save as option it is exporting the total log for that Test item. I am trying to export only part of the log(ex: Folder-1) from the log created for Test item. HiChandanD, I would suggest you to use below code var name = inprogress.WndCaption while(name="Checkout Finished!") { inprogress.btnOK.Click() name = inprogress.WndCaption } You need to capture the Wndcaption again after you click OK button to make sure if the name of popup has changed or not. -Ashwin Please give a kudo and accept as a solution if it works Re: Which version of POI bin files are compatible with SOAP UI 5.5 free version HimanshuTayalpoi-4.1.2 worked for me Re: Using the BuiltIn.CreateVariantArray Method? Hiscot1967, If you are looking for a code here is the example TempArray["Test"] = BuiltIn.CreateVariantArray(0, 5); var i; for(i = BuiltIn.VarArrayLowBound(TempArray["Test"] , 1); i <= BuiltIn.VarArrayHighBound(TempArray["Test"] , 1); i++) { Log.Message(TempArray["Test"] (i) ); } -Ashwin Please give a Kudo and accept it as a solution if this works
