Re: ReadyAPI: How to remove table name in jdbc response
Moreover, based on the readyapi documentation,a "ResponseFilter" event doesn't exist , but only the RequestFilter exists so please since you know how to do it, can you also show me the type of event to use?2 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions677Views0likes0CommentsReadyAPI: How to remove table name in jdbc response
Hello, I need to know how it is possible to remove the table name in the jdbc response. My situation is: I have configured 2 environments on my project: one has Postgres database, the other one has Oracle database. When I run a jdbc step on postgres, an example of response is: <Results> <ResultSet fetchSize="0"> <Row rowNumber="1"> <DICTIONARY_CODE.SEQ_DICTIONARY_CODE>107</DICTIONARY_CODE.SEQ_DICTIONARY_CODE> </Row> </ResultSet> </Results> where DICTIONARY_CODE is the table name andSEQ_DICTIONARY_CODE is the column name. When I run it on the Oracle database, the response is: <Results> <ResultSet fetchSize="0"> <Row rowNumber="1"> <SEQ_DICTIONARY_CODE>107</SEQ_DICTIONARY_CODE> </Row> </ResultSet> </Results> so, on oracle is not returned the table name. It is a problem for the assertions and also when I want to use this value as a property in another step. To do an example: After the jdbc request, I have a REST Request in which I use the jdbc response value as a property: "seqAbbreviationGroup" : "${Find abbreviation_group from dictionary_code#ResponseAsXml#//Results[1]/ResultSet[1]/Row[1]/DICTIONARY_CODE.SEQ_DICTIONARY_CODE[1]}" So, to use it, on postgres I need to define the table name and the column name, on Oracle only the column name. In this way it is impossible to run the same project on 2 different environments. A solution could be to have the same jdbc response in both the environments: so, how it is possible to remove the table name in the jdbc response? Or, there is any particular settings to make "universal" the jdbc response? I use the 3.20.0 ReadyAPI version. I hope my request is clear. If you need, I can give you further details. Thanks in advance.809Views0likes7CommentsRe: Set date timezone in REST response
Yes, I have 2 alternative solution: 1.convert the date received in response to particular timezone and assert it 2. change some setting to force the REST Response to give me the date in a particular timezone Now, I get in response this string: <collectionDate>2021-04-11T06:35:56Z</collectionDate> and the expected one is: <collectionDate>2021-04-11T08:35:56</collectionDate> Thanks4 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions1.9KViews0likes3CommentsRe: Set date timezone in REST response
Thanks, but no I meant something different. I don’t have direct control on the date. I have a REST Request, a get REST request in which I don’t insert a date. I run it. The response of this REST request contain a date. I’d like to see or convert this date in my time zone (CEST). How I can do it?4 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions1.9KViews0likes5CommentsSet date timezone in REST response
Hi, I need to set a different date timezone for my rest request response. Do you know how I can do it? Now, I have something like this in my REST Request Response when I run my (GET) REST Request : <collectionDate>2021-04-11T06:35:56Z</collectionDate> I need to have a date in Europe/Rome timezone so I need to set something somewhere to have a response like this: <collectionDate>2021-04-11T08:35:56</collectionDate> Do you know what I need to change? Hi, My colleagues and me are working with SoapUI Pro 3.0.0. This mean there are more than 1 user who need to execute different tests within the same project. We have just onerequirement: we don't want to use Git integration, but we are working with SVN. I've seen some posts on composite projects and collaborative soapui project work but I'm still a bit hazy on the details - so I was wondering if anyone could clarify. What I think I need is the following: 1. save the existing single user project as a composite project 2. set pretty print responses checkbox in the WSDL preferences 3. use a version control app: SVN 4. Move composite project file to be within the version control of SVN Does the above sound correct? How would the merge of user1, user2 and user3 changes be applied? We're using ReadyAPI v.3.0.0 Thanks to any and all that can help!Solved5 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions1.2KViews0likes1Comment
