Re: DropDown object don't have ClickItem method.
I faced a similar Wndow combo box situation. What worked for me was - - Lets say the drop down has five values in the following order: Address, City. State, Zip & Country -At the time of recording the test case the user might have selected/clicked on 'Address' from the dropdown list, whichgets converted as address into the keyword script in TestComplete. - Now, edit the test script by replacing 'Address' with the value 1 (since address is the first element in the drop down selection), City with the value 2, Zip with the value 4 etc. In other words, the criteria iin the combo box is sequential from 1,2,3..n and not necessarily the value/string visible in the UI.3.7KViews0likes1CommentBest Practices when generate a Pull Request
When a test case author generates a pull requestin Bitbucket for review and approval of the branch containing a TestComplete test case, what are the best practices to keep in mind to enable an efficient review process? When a reviewer looks into the "Diff" tab in bitBucket for the pull reques generated, a) the "testcaseName.tcKDTest" file generates the .xml version of the test case which could bechallenging for some reviewers to understand the flow of the use case & the test data used. b) similarly the "testcaseName.tcKDTest.tcVis" file generated is also a .xml file c) browsing through the .png files is the only thing that is currently providingsome clue of the work flow.Solved991Views0likes1Comment
