When I'm creating the smart assertions, I need to reconfigure the assertions until they are final, and every time I click on "Reconfigure" button to adapt the smart assertion to the latest response it turns out that all the validation values (=, exists, !=, etc) get removed. Why?? It takes forever to define those values and then you must rebuild them again and again. Is there any way to keep those validation values? Kind Regards. Re: Testsuite runs fine with ReadyAPI but fails with testrunner It turned out to be a failing assertion. But for some reason, the report wasn't clear enough about it. I had to check the logs very carefully to understand what was the source of the problem. Re: Testsuite runs fine with ReadyAPI but fails with testrunner Did you get to fix this issue? I'm having exactly the same problem Re: Set data source end row with property Radford Thanks a lot for your answer! And, do you know how to set "DataSource - Number of Rows" property from groovy? Thant would also be great to have. Regards, Joaquin. Re: Set data source end row with property Hijsheph01 Thanks for answering. Could you give some example of how to use that property expansion and how groovy could help on updating the end row? just a very simple example should be very helpfull. Or, maybe you know a place in the internet where I could have a look? Thanks and regards, Joaquin. Re: Set data source end row with property Hirichie First of all thanks for your answer. There are always other options for creating loops but "Data Source" is already out there and it works fine so I would really rather go for that solution than coding myself the loop. I need to modify "End Row" with a property because some tests will neend 5 loop iterations and some other will need 30 iterations of the same loop (this is just an example). I imagine I will have to code some groovy. Regards, Joaquin. Set data source end row with property I would like to set the "end row" of a "data source" using a property ("cycles" for instance) instead of a fixed value. This way I could create a loop of "n" cycles depending of the value I give to that property. Is that possible to do with readyAPI 2.7.0? Thanks and regards, Joaquin. SolvedRe: Transfer property from Run_test_step_1 to Run_test_step_2 Hi Marcusj, Yes Iselected the properties to be returned in the test step to save their property values. And that part works fine, BUT after that is done I want to use those properties values to send them to another Run test step (as inputs). That part, I don't know how to do. Any advise would be very welcome. Thanks, Joaquin. Transfer property from Run_test_step_1 to Run_test_step_2 Hi, I'm trying to pass a property value from one "Run" test step output to another "Run" test step input. So let's say I have "Run_TestStep1" that returns properties "prop1" and "prop2". I want to take this "prop1" and "prop2" values and send them to"Run_TestStep2" as inputs, so"Run_TestStep2" uses those values on run time as inputs. I tried using groovy as follows: def fundingSourceId = context.expand( '${Run_Create_PrePaid_Acc#fundingSourceId}' ) testRunner.testCase.getTestStepByName("Run_Make_Payment").setPropertyValue("fundingSourceId", fundingSourceId) def customerAccountId = context.expand( '${Run_Create_PrePaid_Acc#customerAccId}' ) testRunner.testCase.getTestStepByName("Run_Make_Payment").setPropertyValue("customerAccountId", customerAccountId) but this code is not working. My "Run_Make_Payment" runs with empty values for the properties I transferred using groovy code. Please, help. Regards, Joaquin.
