How are you all using Requirements tab? Who enters requirements BA or QA?
At present our BA team is writing requirements in word document and sometimes they can be 80 to 100 pages with screenshots. Who is responsible to enter those requirement in QAComplete BA or QA in your organization? Or BA's don't create a document and directly utilizing a requirement tab to enter requirements. I am trying to find a best practice, to reduce efforts in our organization. Also, is it a good tool for BA to write requirements or they writing in different tools and then migrating those here. Please help and share your process.964Views0likes0CommentsRe: Test Set --- Last run status is confusing
I agree with "Last Run" is confusing, we shouldn't be associating Last Run of Test Cases which might be for different module and we using the same Test Case as common test case under Test Sets. It doesn't make sense to see the Last Run under Test Set when you are testing totally different area then what was previously tested udner that same test case.3.1KViews0likes0CommentsAbility to copy TestSet from one project o another.
At present we can copy Test Set from one project to another. But there is no way of copying TestSet. For organization they have mutiple module which might need to run across same Standards and Framework related testing. Each time for 50 plus module I have to manually create same Test Sets which I already created for others. There should be easier way to copy those TestCase as long as the folder structure is same as previous project. Or should be a way to import it.3.2KViews5likes3CommentsAbility to paste Screen Capture without having to save it locally or directly from QAComplete
At present user have to Take a screenshot from third party tool, save it locally, then click on upload and find the document where it was saved. It is a process on it own. It would be better if user can take screenshot direclty from QAcomplete tool and don't need to save it locally or just copy and paste direclty in the actual resuts. That will save lot of time.2KViews1like1CommentAbility to include screenshots in TestSet print preview PDF. To send it to developers or anyone else
At present develoepers are not using QA complete to find out the defects. I have to send them the list of defects. I didn't find any way to send Screenshot along with TESTSETS that were ran for which we added screenshot under Actual Results. So, we have to manually create another word document to send it to Developers with all defects along with the Word document which has screenshots. I noticed under "Run History" for each test sets we can click on "Printer Friendly" option that can be saved as PDF to developers but it is missing a screesnhot which were added during run. Please find a way to include the screenshots with that "Printer Friendl"y report or find a way just to extract "Printer Friend" version of defects only with screenshots. That will help us eliminate creation of another word document which is time consuming.4KViews5likes1CommentRe: Screenshot / Screen capture tool for tests within the Test Library/Test Sets/Defects
We would love these feature too. It takes time to capture a screenshot, save it and then come to QAComplete presse upload button, look for the file where you saved it and press okay. If you do this in each test stet. It takes a toll.5.4KViews0likes0CommentsCopy "Test Sets" from one project to another?
Hi, I am trying to find a way to copy "TEST SETS" from one project to another. We have standard sets of test sets which need to be run on each module. But, I have to manually create each test sets over and over. There is a way to "clone" test sets within the same project. I want to know if there's a way to move from one project to another. Or else you should have an option to copy the new project which will not just inherit folder structure but also all the test cases and test sets from it. The user should choose what needs to copy other than just folder structure.1.1KViews0likes1CommentRe: How to export a test set with the tests into spreadsheet
Hi, Under Report. There is only option for "TESTS" and not for "TEST SETS". I wan to export a copy which includes all the test that were ran within the "TEST SETS" and what were the results. I am using "Test" as my library of test cases and "Test Sets" to run it for perticular ticket which was fixed.1.3KViews0likes1Comment
