Question: I want to pass as input parameters from object properties of the application under test. I am running in issues where TestComplete fails the syntax check for the IsCheckBoxEnabled. It's not happy with the input parameters bit. If I change it to: function IsCheckBoxEnabled() { } Then the syntax passes. Any ideas? SolvedRe: TestComplete not support Chrome Browser Oops must have selected the wrong settings. Question was for web-based testing on desktop not mobile. I will give your suggestion a try. TestComplete not support Chrome Browser Hi, I am using the following products: Chrome version 90.0.4430.212 (Official Build) (64-bit) TestComplete 14.81.217.7 x64 However, I am getting the message which says SmartBear Test Extension for Chrome is not enabled. TestComplete will not record any actions in Chrome until you enable it. To do this, restart all you browser process, including background ones... I have actioned the message but still the issue exists. I have to issue with FireFox however. SolvedCesiumJS API Hi, I am trial TestComplete against a web-based application which is highly graphics rendering based. It uses the CesiumJS API to render the HMI. Does anyone know if TestComplete supports the Cesium controllers? I have done a brief test on the application under test and TestComplete fails to record and replay mouse clicks. It cannot pick up any objects of the application. Re: Difference between ReadyAPI and TestComplete I am still new to the project, in short its a web-based application which uses the Angular UI control, docker containers (TestComplete looks to be suitable for the front-end aspects) and mirco-services. Testing of the back-end micro-services is what I am interested in, ReadyAPI seems to be what I need. The application services are predominantly linux based. The back-end uses websocket, HTTP/REST, UDP... Does ReadyAPI have a record and replay feature? I like TestComplete because users can pretty much create tests without a large learning curve. Is ReadyAPI the same, can tests be composed easily using APIs/wizards provided. Cheers Difference between ReadyAPI and TestComplete Hi, I am in the process of evaluating tools for a CI/CD setup. I have used TestComplete in the past. What is the main difference between the two? They both seem to be functional testing tools. How do the two fit in a CI\CD pipeline? Thanks SolvedTestComplete integration with IBM's Engineering Test Management (IBM JAZZ tool suite) Hi, I am just wondering whether TestComplete integrates with the IBM Jazz tool suite particularly their Engineering Test Management tool, or their JAZZ Quality Manager. Cheers SolvedRe: Infragistics object not recognised by TestComplete I should add its the case where a table within a table then the inner table rows are not recognised. Re: Infragistics object not recognised by TestComplete Looking at the list suggests the Infragistics object is supported. What I don't understand is to what extent if developers inherit the object class but then expands the object class and wraps it then will TestComplete still recognise it. What I am finding is that the developers are saying they inherit from the UltraTree class, but somehow TestComplete is not recognising all the lower levels 'nodes' of the tree when using the Table checkpoint. It only recognise the top level rows and columns but not child rows and columns. Still an issue despite me using the Object mapping feature.
