Currently, as review participants, Collaborator providesonly the moderator, author, reviewer and observerroles. Can this list be extended ? https://support.smartbear.com/collaborator/docs/server/settings/review-templates/roles.html 2.In addition, is it possible to assign more than one role to one person? Re: How to Allow Multiple Groups Access to Reviews w/o Nesting This question deserves an answer from Smartbear, no one from the support team can give a reply ? Rather disappointing. Re: Collaborator 13.2 and 13.4 cannot login in the command line if the password contains a double-quote This command also crashes starting from Collaborator 13.2. Why ? It contains only single quotes, the last argument is perfectly valid. ccollab.exe loginhttps://collabserver.ioMatei 123'4'56 Trying to login with new configurationjava.net.SocketException: Network is unreachable: connect at java.net.DualStackPlainSocketImpl.connect0(Native Method) ERROR: Executing command `ccollab login`: java.io.IOException: Network is unreachable: connect com.smartbear.collaborator.client.exceptions.CollabClientException: java.io.IOException: Network is unreachable: connect Re: Collaborator 13.2 and 13.4 cannot login in the command line if the password contains a double-quote A command line with arguments is not necessarily executed in a cmd.exe window where escaping restrictions apply for & % ^ " etc. I can execute the ccollab.exe login command with Win32 API functions or with C# process launching functions, or with Python or Java. In these languages, no escaping restrictions are necessary, except those required by the language and the use of two double-quotes for escaping a single double-quote inside an argument. Because the arguments are always (normally?) passed to executables surrounded by double-quotes, aren't they? What are the new rules of passing arguments to the ccollab.exe login command in Collaborator since 13.2? I think it is Collaborator's responsibility to define the rules of passing arguments to its commands. Re: Collaborator 13.2 and 13.4 cannot login in the command line if the password contains a double-quote At our company we have no Collaborator 12.4 server anymore to test, we have upgraded to 13.4.13104, but I can guarantee thatthe command below worked perfectly fine in 12.4: ccollab.exe loginhttps://collabserver.ioMatei "123""456" And now starting with 13.2 the command raises a weird exception. Re: Collaborator 13.2 and 13.4 cannot login in the command line if the password contains a double-quote And what if the password contains a single-quote and a double-quote, like this: 123"4'56 ? Collaborator 13.2 and 13.4 cannot login in the command line if the password contains a double-quote Any time thepassword contains a double-quote, the login command below raises an exception. Example: if the password is 123"456, then the login command must be: ccollab.exe loginhttps://collabserver.ioMatei "123""456" The Collaborator server throws an exception: Trying to login with new configurationjava.net.SocketException: Network is unreachable: connect at java.net.DualStackPlainSocketImpl.connect0(Native Method) ERROR: Executing command `ccollab login`: java.io.IOException: Network is unreachable: connect com.smartbear.collaborator.client.exceptions.CollabClientException: java.io.IOException: Network is unreachable: connect The correct answer from the server would have been: Connecting to Collaborator Enterprise v13.4.13401 Server https://collabserver.io Collaborator Enterprise client credentials invalid. Please supply a valid password. This situation was not present in version 12.4, the double-quote was accepted in the password! java.net.SocketException: Connection reset by peer: socket write error Hello, - Collaborator Enterprise v13.2.13200 Server - Collaborator client v12.4.12400 - SCM system is configured to PTC Integrity The PTC Integrity change package has 96 new files and 48 updated files The total size of the files is rather small ~ 4.2 MB When creating a review from ccollabgui.exe, when executing command ccollab addchangelist, the following java exception is raised. I would like to download the minimum possible size. In Collaborator Server 12.4.12402, are there character restrictions for the password ? Hello I installed ccollab_server_12_4_12402_windows_x64.exe for testing I selected Internal authentication (see attached file) When created my account in the first screen, I selected a password containing German regional characters ä ö ü by switching the keyboard layout with Alt+Shift Now I cannot login in the browser (see attached file and the error from the tomcat\collab.log file) Are there any restrictions to not use regional characters in the password ? If there are restrictions, where exactly it is written in the documentation ?
