This helps large community of tester to decide if they can do their todays work on the latest build or if it will fail anyway. I would be nice to have a simple way to extract a overview from the testreport for mailing, wiki and so on. I suggest an option for export where you can select that you only want to export checkpoints. Re: Floating license with virtual machines. I installed always TestComplete and TestExecute. So I can save money buy using TE for simultaneous automated runs. And only for Debugging TestComplete is started. (I assume that a Test Developer only needs a single license, as s/he can only debug one test a the time). Re: Test Execute must be closed before installation can continue (MSI) Probably you dont need it but I want to support@tristaanorge opinion. To verfiy the installation you should use another tool. And do only the actual ui test with test complete. Re: Hudson Integration with TestComplete 12.5 Jenkins plugin from SmartBear has a pretty good quality. Good selection of user setable parameters and automated functionality. But yes, Jenkins client needs to run on DUT. Re: Running TestComplete on Virtual machine even if the user is not logged on Jenkins + Autologin + TC/TE can solve this problem. Re: Why does "Stopping..." take so long? Have you tried with TC12. It performs better at debugging. Re: Implement a way of storing/exporting compact log file, as alternative to .mht file storage Thanks for the link! Re: Implement a way of storing/exporting compact log file, as alternative to .mht file storage XML with XSLT would be nice. This can be transformed and edited in many ways. Re: Printing log information in Jenkins console This would be really nice! Re: TestExecute and VM I user 4 cores and 16GB RAM for my VMs. This requirments comes mainly from the application under test. HW is old Dell R720, but I am look forwards to own a R640xd. Virtualization is done with VMWare ESX
