How to resolve the error while opening an excel workbook?
I am trying to open an excel workbook using the below lines of code. It throws an error saying, function Test(){ var Excel; Excel = Sys.OleObject("Excel.Application"); Excel.Visible = true; Excel.Workbooks.Open("D:\\test1.xls"); } "Sorry, we couldn't find D:\test1.xls. Is it possible it was moved, renamed or deleted?" I don't know what's wrong with this simple lines of code. I am using TestComplete 12 and have MS Excel 2016 64 bit installed. Is it causing the problem? Please help!890Views0likes1CommentProblem mapping the object
Hi, I am testing a desktop based application. I am trying to mapthe OK button, but TestComplete is not able to map the button individually. It maps the entire dialog instead. When I spy the dialog, I don't see the wItem property. It does show the Childcount property with a value equals to two. But after investigating more, I found that the properties are not of OK and Cancel buttons. Please have a look at the screenshot to better understand the problem. Does anyone know the solution? P.S. The dialog has been developed in C++. Thanks, -H965Views0likes1Comment
