Testcomplete is identifying objects when Outlook opened through Run as admin option
Hi All, I need to open outlook and automate .Testcomplete is not identifying objects only when we open outlook Through "Run as Administrator" Option.When outlook is opened normally,Tc is identifying objects. Hi, I have red the provided article and came to know that getobject function does not bind to the existing excel application. I don't know the exact internals of how COM works but Getobject can get the existing excel reference. Following steps works in VB script. Set Obj=CreateObject("Excel.Application") will give new excel instance. Could any help how can we get X and Y coordinates for Drag method in testcomplete and how reliable using Drag and drop method. Context:Client developed an Add-in Called X.requirement is to check how it integrates with Office products like excel,word,outlook Etc.Office products automatically detects that add-in once it is installed in the machine. Problem Statement:Outlook is detecting an Add-in before opening testcomplete But after opening testcomplete,Outlook is not detecting Add-in.Its working fine for Excel,Word and power point.Only problem with Outlook. I am using keybpoard short cuts for opening the PDF file from reader and Making some changes.How ever I don't know what is the short cut for adding Comments in PDF file. Once we add comments ,Same file needs to be checked in and save into share point. I am trying to automate below. 1)Open Adobe reader .Open PDF file from Adobe reader 2)add comments 3)Check in 4)Save file. How ever test complete not identifying Comments button individually. After clicking on file,Context menu items are not getting identified individullay. Need to navigate to File-->Sharepoint-->Check in.But testcomplete not identifying them.
