Issue with Drag action. Out of bounds
Hi, Can someone help me with an issue I'm getting with the Drag action I'm working with a DevExpress list box control which enables the user to drag and drop an item in the list. I firstly find the item according to the parameter passed in and click the item. I then get the mouse coordinates after the click action I then try to use the drag action to take these mouse x y coordinates as the starting point and the use the parameter passed in to set the vertical(y) 'MoveByAmount' However, when I run it I keep getting the following error There was an attempt to perform an action at point (x, y), which is out of the window bounds. Hi, I recently upgraded from TestComplete 12 to 14 and I've encountered an issue when using the RunAs method when trying to run an application under a different user account - "Unable to run [application] under [account name] account" I've checked the TC 14 exe to ensure it is run as administrator (which it is). I've also reverted back to TC 12 on the backed up copy of the project and it worked without error, so the project is unique to TC 14 Does anyone have an idea what may have changed in TC 14 that could cause this to no longer work? Hi, Initially it worked when running the test through TestExecute from command line. I decided to launch TestComplete.exe directly from the application bin directory. This also worked. Normal run mode: I have an object called frmPSBadgerOK Mapped name: Aliases.PSBadgerProject.frmPSBadgerOK) Name: VCLObject("frmPSBadgerOK") This is a pop-up box that is displayed when the application completes it's processing. I then click the OK button. Hi, When I run an application in normal 'Run' mode the application I'm running works consistently; however, when I run the application in 'RunAs' mode (I need to test authorisation functionality so need to run the application under a different user account) it doesn't recognise objects previously mapped and recorded in the NameMapping section. I've confirmed this using the object spy and analysing the name mapping I'm at a loss as to how to fix this. I've tried all the suggestions that I can find including ensuring TC is run with administrator priviledges. I even 'RanAs' the same user currently logged into the machine with no success Does anyone have any ideas as to what might me causing this Thanks AdamSolved3KViews0likes14Comments
