Enable drag and drop of Keyword or Script Folders into CBT Configuration
As of TC 12.50, it is not possible to drag and drop created folders into the CrossBrowserTesting configuration. Example: https://www.screencast.com/t/Tusjk3AxfV If a user has multiple folders, it is painful to manually expand them all and select the contents of the folder. Dragging and dropping the folder should be possible, this is an intuitive UI design that needs to be implemented.1.5KViews0likes1CommentModify Keyword Test Tooltip
Current Behavior: Tooltip for keyword test parameters is implemented as a "Full Name Tooltip", this makes it so that the tooltip appears over the area highlighted. Identified Issue: For some users, it is too difficult to click the parameter for editing because of the tooltip's placement. The tooltip is directly over the area to be typed into. Desired Behavior: Change tooltip implementation from "Full Name Tooltip" to one of the other kinds of tooltips that offset the tooltip instead of displaying it directly on top. Kinds of tool tips here: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/dn742443%28v=vs.85%29.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-21472173961.9KViews4likes1CommentRe: TestComplete is still permance using the database file not allowing me to change name or delete
Could you provide the script that you're trying to run? Also, I'm not really sure exactly what the issue is. What do you mean by, "the database is not allowing me to change its name or delete"? By "database file" I assume you mean a Table Stores object? Do you mean you're unable to delete or modify this object?1KViews0likes1CommentAutomate Injection of AIRAgent.js into header of HTML-based AIR applications
Currently, if we want to use TestComplete with an HTML-based AIR application, we are required to add a line of code to import AIRAgent.js. While simple, this requirement does not scale well if there are numerous AIR applications that need to be tested. Reducing the amount of preparation needed to work with HTML-based AIR applications will improve TestComplete's out-of-the-box functionality. Please implement a way to automatically inject AIRAgent.js into HTML-based AIR applications. Essentially, avoid needing to perform the following for every AIR application we wish to test: https://support.smartbear.com/testcomplete/docs/app-testing/web/air/preparing-html-based.html1.9KViews1like0CommentsRe: TestComplete: Bring Back The Ability To Create CheckPoints Using Visualizer Frames
Tristaan, Right, currently you're able to still use the context menu when right-clicking the Visualizer frame to initiate the creation of the Property Checkpoint. Originally, we thought there was a bug that wasn't displaying the properties. Upon further investigation, this remnant behavior is a step towards removing the feature entirely. To "solve" the missing properties, they will remove the ability to create Property Checkpoints from Visualizer frames entirely. I've also upvote this as I don't see why we should be removing this feature. Perhaps new features included in later updates will capture this ability but at the moment there is no explanation towards why this feature is being removed.13KViews0likes0Comments
