Usage of timeout field in jenkins testcomplete plugin
Last night we executed a TestExecute job (version 12) in jenkins (2.46.1) without timeout. It runs a project in a project suite. When entering the office in the morning the jenkins job was still running, while the testexecute project should have been finished by then. Can it be that the plugin (version 1.7) doesn't properly detect the end of the project execution ? Also, if we specify a timeout of 3 hours and the project only takes 2 minutes to complete, the job still seems to run for 3 hours ...877Views0likes1CommentRe: TestComplete/TestExecute can be launched only on the Windows OS.
Not really, but I changed the original post a bit to make it clear that the name of the project is not relevant. TheFUGRIS/FUGRIS_2.0_Trunk project used to succeed, but today it starts complaining about the remote calls ...1.3KViews0likes0CommentsTestComplete/TestExecute can be launched only on the Windows OS.
We have a jenkins job that is launching a TestComplete project every day. Today we see this in the console: [TestComplete] The test execution started (FUGRIS/FUGRIS_2.0_Trunk). [TestComplete] [ERROR] An error occurred while executing code on the test machine (slave): java.io.IOException: Remote call on brus-review failed. [TestComplete] [ERROR] TestComplete/TestExecute can be launched only on the Windows OS. Before today we did not have that problem, and see this in the console: [TestComplete] The test execution started (FUGRIS/FUGRIS_2.0_Trunk). [TestComplete] Found TestComplete/TestExecute installations: Type: TC, Version: 12.20.935.7, Path: "C:\Program Files (x86)\SmartBear\TestComplete 12\bin\TestComplete.exe" Type: TE, Version: 12.20.935.11, Path: "C:\Program Files (x86)\SmartBear\TestExecute 12\bin\TestExecute.exe" The machine really does have a Windows OS, so what could be wrong ?1.3KViews0likes2CommentsJenkins Plugin: red test, while 'TestComplete Test Results' are green
We are running a Jenkins job to execute a TestComplete script. The overall test result is red (see attachmentq2_failed_overview_screen.png) while the testcomplete results are green (q2_testcomplete_testresult.png). The console output (q2_console_output.png) shows a 'Test runner exit code: -1', apparently indicating that we have a license problem. But as far as I can tell our licenses are OK. So the question: how can we show a green test in the jenkins overview for such successful tests.1.4KViews0likes3Comments
