Hi, test-Project included. Problem is also in 14.30, not only in 14.0... sincerely Paul Vinders SOPTIM AG Re: Calling webservices The solution is: httpObj.open("GET", url, false); instead of httpObj.open("GET", url, true); sincerely P. Vinders SOPTIM AG Calling webservices Hi, w're calling urls in the appserver in the following way: function verifyUrl(url) { var httpObj = Sys.OleObject("MSXML2.ServerXMLHTTP.6.0"); httpObj.open("GET", url, true); httpObj.send(); while (httpObj.readyState != 4) { Delay(500); httpObj.send(); } return httpObj.status == 404 ? false: true; } This worked fine in TC11. In TC 14.0 the test stays in the while loop...Is this approach not supported anymore? sincerely Paul Vinders SOPTIM AG Germany SolvedRe: Jumping to routines in other units defect in TC14? Hi Evgeny, another user hast he same effect in 14.30 (see replies). Furthermore, we cannot use 14.30 beacause of issue #00418564… sincerely P. Vinders SOPTIM AG Jumping to routines in other units defect in TC14? Hi, w're calling routines like the following part: TU_one.sj: -------------- function T_one() { this.T_readSomething = T_readSomething; } function T_readSomething() { ... } TU_two.sj: -------------- //USEUNIT TU_one function T_test() { one = new T_one(); one.T_readSomething(); } In TestComplete 11, by clicking CTRL + left mousebutton in TU_two.sj on T_readSomething(), we could jump to the routine in TU_one.sj In TestComplete 14.0, this does not work anymore... Option 'CTRL + click' in the option-dialogue is activiated. sincerely Paul Vinders SOPTIM AG Germany SolvedRe: Log.SaveResultsAs in TC 14.20/14.30 does not export the same results as in TC 14.0 Hi Sonya, I already did :-) regards Log.SaveResultsAs in TC 14.20/14.30 does not export the same results as in TC 14.0 We have tested with Testcomplete 14.0 and 14.20/14.30 and we have encountered a problem with Log.SaveResultsAs : in TC 14.0 (as in TC11 and earlier) the log-directory-structure after exporting it to d:\reports\tmp) is as follows: d:\Reports\tmp\a\b\c\d\e\ScriptTestLog<Unit><Testname>\ where the dir-names are as long as needed in TC 14.20/14.30 the log-directory-structure is as follows: d:\Reports\tmp\a\b\c\ScriptTestLog<Unit><Methodename>\ where the dir-names are max. 30 characters long! We have exported the log at the end of the test and even tried with OnStopEvent. Does not work correctly. When we manually export the log, the log-directory-structure is as in 14.0..... Please advise us, thank you best regards Paul Vinders SOPTIM AG Germany SolvedRe: Is an opened Excel-Reference by TestComplete somehow hidden for other applications? Hi, the following works for me with EXCEL7 in MSAA (Windows 7/10 and Office 2016): Sys.Process("EXCEL").Window("XLMAIN", "*", 1).Window("XLDESK", "*", 1).Panel("*").NativeObject.Application With this property I have all original Properties/Methods like before. Thanks! sincerely P. Vinders Re: Is an opened Excel-Reference by TestComplete somehow hidden for other applications? Hi, After adding EXCEL7 in MSAA, the Property is visible not visible under Sys.Process("EXCEL").Window("XLMAIN", "a - Excel", 2).Window("XLDESK", "", 1).Window("EXCEL6", "", 1). It is visble under Sys.Process("EXCEL").Window("XLMAIN", "a - Excel", 2).Window("XLDESK", "", 1).Panel("a"). Sys.Process("EXCEL").Window("XLMAIN", "a - Excel", 2).Window("XLDESK", "", 1).Window("EXCEL7", "", 1) has disappeared. Instead of adding EXCEL7, I've added only EXCEL6 in MSAA: then the property is visible under Sys.Process("EXCEL").Window("XLMAIN", "a - Excel", 2).Window("XLDESK", "", 1).Window("EXCEL7", "a", 1) -- EXCEL 7 !!!!!!!! Also, a Sys.Process("EXCEL").Window("XLMAIN", "", 3 exists though 2 files are opened, not 3... I don't understand it.
