Placed: var dateString = aqConvert.DateTimeToFormatStr(aqDateTime.Now(), '%m%d%Y%H%M') Updated: Log.SaveResultsAs("C:\\TestLogs\\Log" + dateString + "\\Log.xml", lsXML) Re: Log.SaveResultsAs Dynamically Name Log File Thanks. Placing the variable creation and log.saveresultas inside of my function does not provide a sub folder creation. Placing the variable outside of the function and then the log.saveresultas outside as well, produces a sub folder entitled "Log' + dateString + ' Log.SaveResultsAs Dynamically Name Log File Currently have the following line of code in a JSCRIPT: Log.SaveResultsAs("C:\\TestLogs\\Log1\Log.xml", lsXML). This is obviously using hard coded values of Log1 as the Sub directory. I want this to be dynamic and create a new sub directory each time I run this script without having to change it manually each time. How would I accomplish this? Re: TestComplete 12/Google Chrome/Win 10: Only Small Portion of Screen is Highlighted Wondering if anyone has any other suggestions here? Nothing has worked at this point. Maybe SMARTBEAR can answer? Re: TestComplete 12/Google Chrome/Win 10: Only Small Portion of Screen is Highlighted (REUPLOAD) I have Test Complete 10 and 11 also installed. The other two extensions are for those versions. I disabled them just as a test, and received the same result. TestComplete 12/Google Chrome/Win 10: Only Small Portion of Screen is Highlighted (REUPLOAD) Unable to find my original post and view replies (not showing in listing). Therefore, I am re-posting :). Previously on Windows 7, had no issues highlighting full web page on screen when navigating to the Object Browser and selecting "Highlight On Screen". Now in Windows 10 using Google Chrome (version 56), only a very small portion of the screen is being highlighted. This is causing my objects not to be found on screen, thereby failing all of my test scripts. See attached screen shot for an example of this. I have a three monitor setup (Laptop screen and two additional monitors) Resolutions are: Laptop: 1920 x 1080, Screen 1: 1920 x 1080, Screen 2: 1440 x 900. Highlighted area is a little larger on the laptop monitor, smaller on the second and very small on the third. In addition I am running Windows 10 64 bit. Both Edge and Firefox work without issue on my laptop display. Same issue above is noted if I place my web browser on either the second or third monitor. I have gone through all of the setup options for Chrome in the Prepping of Web Browsers support article (http://support.smartbear.com/testcomplete/docs/app-testing/web/general/preparing-browsers/index.html) and ensured my zoom is at 100%. I have also played with the scaling on each monitor with no result. I am not sure if this is due to my resolution or some other environmental setup. NOTE: I have reinstalled the Test Complete 12 Extension for Chrome, and ensured it was enabled. Are there any suggestions? Thanks for your help! Re: IE 11: Test Complete 12 Not Recognizing Username and Password Marsha: Thanks for getting back to me. I am using Keyword Tests, Not Scripts for this test. I can certainly convert this test to a script and post it for you if that would help. Yes, when the test runs the username and password are entered within the appropriate boxes with the appropriate values. After the test fails as it is unable to proceed to the main landing page, I can clear the username and password...manually type in the same values and login without a problem. We are testing an in house / non released web based application right now, so I am limited what I can post regarding the actual interface. IE 11: Test Complete 12 Not Recognizing Username and Password Have a simple test complete keyword test which launches a web page, clicks the login button enters the credentials and clicks login. When running the test within Test Complete a message appears stating "Invalid Username and Password". When manually typing in this login information, I am able to login utilizing this username and password without issue. This same test also runs in both Chrome and Firefox without issue. I have gone through the "Setting up Internet Explorer" steps and ensured that all settings for Test Complete are accurate. I have deleted temp files and performed all standard troubleshooting with the same result. Any assistance you can provide or suggestions on what I can try would be great. Thanks. Solved
