Our only issue right now is that FireFox 48 isnt working. edit - sorry. I originally misread this. Yeah you need 11.1 to work with tc12 like others have said. Works fine though after that What are you using for reports and dashboards? So i'm a bit frustrated with QAComplete and some of the reporting and maybe i'm asking it to do something it cannot. Ultimately I need to have a high level executive page/dashboard showing our overall quality metrics. We use qacomplete primarily for our automation tests which run nightly. Some of the dashboard charts are 'ok' but i can't export them into Confluence which we use. I certainly dont expect my boss to have to log into qacomplete to find information. Everything else regarding our project is in jira/confluence. I could take screenshots but the pie chart doesnt show any details unless you hover over it. I'm curious what other groups are doing? Re: SmartBear's position in Gartner's Magic Quadrant. When I did my product evals back in 2014 they were in the Visionaries quadrant in August 14. Interesting to see where they are now. Also of note. It has Soasta, Borland, Microsoft and Oracle in the leaders quadrant as well. I dont feel like QTP/UFT is a better automation tool than TestComplete. I think HP has better Test Management tools though. We use QAComplete to drive our testing and its 'ok'. Re: Daylight savings time problem with automated tests Yes its still an issue. Our workaround was to bump our test schedule up an hour. We are using the on prem version10.2.63. I was going to create a support ticket for it but i havent gotten around to it yet. Daylight savings time problem with automated tests Looks like i'm having a bit of an issue after the time change. Our test schedule starts at 2am but the tests are actually running at 1am instead. I checked all the time settings on the machines involved and they all seem to be correct. However when I look at the test log it shows it starting at 1am. I made sure qacomplete is set to the right timezone as well. Need to add a header to Web tests for use with dynatrace We currently use dynaTrace for performance testing. I want to be able to use our testcomplete tests with dynatrace but I cant seem to find a way to edit the header for each particular test. All of our tests are keyword tests but if I need to do this with scripting i can. I just dont know where to start. Below is a dynatrace sample header. I would like to be able to stateNA=(testcomplete test 1) so i would have to make this unique for each test. X-dynaTrace Header Possible Key-Value Pairs The table lists possible key-value pairs. They can be provided in any order, separated with a semicolon. Key Description Usage NA Test Name. Metrics for requests with the same name will be aggregated (You can execute as many tests as you'd like (within the same testRun), but remember to give them different names if they are not testing the same thing) Required TR TestRunId, from a registered test run (see REST API POST testruns). Required RC Expected Response Code. If the test results in any other response code, the test is marked as failed. Optional. The default is 200. X-dynaTrace Header Sample X-dynaTrace: NA=SampleTestName;TR=7a0520fc-eda9-4f78-a8fa-4cb7d04ac8b8;RC=200 Re: TestExecute can NOT launch IExplorer We are starting to to add a quick process that makes sures all the browsers are killed on our testexecute machines before the test runs. Re: Meet TestComplete 11 Well that stinks. I just updated all of the testexecute hosts. I saw this morning that all my tests failed last night :( I'll take the TE11 off those machines and just keep the old TC10 project on there for now until QAC gets updated. The problem is that I updated my license manager, and now TC/TE10 dont seem to work with the new license. Re: Meet TestComplete 11 Will the upgraded TC11 project still work with the current version of QAComplete? This licensing upgrade seems like its going to be a pain... Re: ZAPIHi Phil. Just curious if you ever made any progress with this? I just found that my company just purchased Zephyr for Jira so now I feel a bit compelled to use it. I love the metrics that it produces. It just doesnt have anything for automation which is a huge part of our testing.
