Distributed Testing Questions
Hi , I have a few questions on distributed testing: 0- USING TC7 1- Never done distributed testing but read enough to get a chance to start a simple test. 2- Is the recording suppose to happen on MASTER? 3- What if the SLAVES are running on different versions of XP and the MASTER is runnig on Windows7? 4- What if the the TC is installed on my lap top and the client machine that the recording needs to take place from is another client accessed by RDP Any detailed help is greatly appreciated. Hi, Using TC7 1- how different it is to record a Fat client v.s. a HTTP application? 2- if the Fat Client is being accessed thru RDP, how do we use the O-Finder to locate objects? What I see is that O-Finder can only find the RDP screen object and not the Fat client application that is running in it 3- is there any source document to show how to actually write the code for a Fat Client , ie. the Find object methods....etc. 4- does anyone have generic but custom O-Finder methods that can share with me to use as a foundation for writing my scripts for our Fat Client Application?
