Re: Recognize tooltip for System.Windows.Controls.TextBlock
So i break it up into a few short steps, its just a way but not the only way. Here is the example using KeyWord tests but you could always convert to script later. This is a workaround that I had to do for most of my WPF forms I test. I add an On-Screen action then drag the spy tool over the object, Click Next then to get to the "Specify Method or Property" screen Select "HoverMouse" then click Next Then the last screen is "Operation Parameters", just leave the coordinates for X and Y at -1 then Click Finish Then I drag over a "Delay" operation from under Miscellaneous section and give it 1000ms, just enough to let the tooltip show Finally I do a Property Checkpoint on the object and drill down to the tooltip and there should be a value populated for the tooltip of the object now2.1KViews0likes1CommentWindows Store apps opening along with TestComplete 11 on Windows 10
So i just installed Windows 10 Pro (build 10240) and just recently started using TestComplete on this machine. I believe when I installed it asked if I might want to test Windows Store apps, which is very possible that I will be doing. So now if I open up ether a pjs or the testcomplete exe, it also opens up One Note (Store app), Xbox One Store app and the Sports app that the store automatically installs with windows. I only want TestComplete to open, not a bunch of extra apps. The last update for Windows was (KB3081455) on 10/19 and I have seen windows updates actually fix a bunch of TC flickering when TestComplete has performed an operation. Has anyone else seen this?Solved3.2KViews0likes2CommentsRe: TFS 2013 and TestComplete 10.6
I had to download the SCC Provider for VS 2013 https://visualstudiogallery.msdn.microsoft.com/06c8e056-7f77-4a5c-9b8b-49318c143df8 This works for regular TFS repositories. The problem Im having is that the TFS Server has a GIT repository and I do not know how to be able to post bugs to TFS but use a GIT repo from TFS1.5KViews2likes1Comment
