Re: Firefox process issue differences in Object Browser
Hi Pradeep, Thanks for your reply. But we are not keeping the browser open before running the tests. We "are" making sure that no instance of browser exists. The problem here is, TestComplete shows it as Sys.Browser and TestExecute recognizing this as Sys.Process Thanks, Sarma Kasibhatla1KViews0likes0CommentsFirefox process issue differences in Object Browser
Hi, When we are opening the Firefox browser using TestComplete 10, the object browser lists it under Sys.Browser, where as if we are trying to run the tests from TestExecute 10, the test fails. When we looked at the Object Browser (keeping previous instance of firefox opened), it shows under Sys.Process. Following is the environment, Browser: Firefox 30 (32-bit) OS: windows 7 - 64 bit Environment: Running on a Virtual Image Can anyone suggest on how we can address this issue? Thank you Alex, I am not sure if we can have SVN solution for our Problem. We are exploring another solution with Accurev, where we would like to create a workspace and upload the entire Project Suite. Is it possible to identify what files will be changed when we make changes to name mappings, script tests, keyword tests and etc? so that we will maintain these files in the SCM tool and remaining files/folders as static items. Is there any reference of these files in any of the TestComplete documents? Thanks, Sarma K1.5KViews0likes0CommentsMultiple Checkout/Checkins from TestComplete with SVN Integration
Hi, We have integrated Collabnet SVN with our TestComplete code. I just wanted to know if we can have multiple checkins/checkouts on the Poject Suite so that one or more test engineers can work on the same code. Welcome any suggestions on achieving this at the Project Suite or Project Level. Thanks, Sarma KasibhatlaSolved2.5KViews0likes5CommentsCalling TestComplete Suites from .Net
Hi, I have few tests added in TestComplete 9 and I would like to know if I can call these tests from .Net interface. Or is it possible to write scripts in .Net that tests a Web Application (Using the TestComplete interface)? Thanks, Sarma Kasibhatla2.3KViews0likes1CommentActivating Licenses on Virtual Images
Hi, I would like to know if we can install and activate (floating Enterprise) licenses on a virtual image that is running under ESX/Similar environment. The scenario is: 1. License Manager is installed on a Server 2. Have few Virtual Images launched on ESX/UCS server 3. Install TestComplete on Virtual Image (which doesn't have a physical host) 4. Activate the license on the Virtual Image by pointing to the License Manger Server. Please let me know ifthe above scenario possible or is it mandatory that the license has to be activated on a physical machine that hosts the Virtual Images Appreciate any help on this kind of installations! Hi, I am facing issues comparing strings that has "..." characters. We have some data in spreadsheet, i.e., strings ending with "...", for example test_type = "New..." Nowthe following call doesn't return zero (0) aqString.Find(test_type, "New...", 0, False) Also when I wanted to select this value from a combo box object, like, ComboBox("Test Type:").SelectItem test_type it doesn't select this item from the list. Tried with replacing it with "\.", it didn't work. Is it thatthe character"." is replaced by any regular expression? Any help on this is highly appreciated.
