Re: The iexplore.exe process crashed
Hi, since a couple of days my tests experience same problem: IE crashes during test execution. I run my tests against several browsers (FF, Chrome and IE10,IE11 and IE8). Chrome and FF execute OK, but tests run in IE results in crashing IE. When IE is crashing the exception code is 0x80000003 (see attached screenshot). IE version is 11. Does anybody have an idea?Feature request: Tolerance level for acceptable differences in image size (in RegionCheckpoint)
I use Region checkpoint to validate UI. In different browsers, the images in the UI are different in size. For example: In IE11 image is 181x884; In FF36 image is 181x889; In Chrome41 image is 181x899 therefore the Region checkpoint fails, but the images are (more or less) the same, That is why I need to have tolerance setting (just like PixelTolerance and ColorTolerance), so that I can set a tolerance level for differences in image size.Re: When is video recording being supported in TestComplete?
Thanks for this info Leonardo. By the way, I have used NCH's Debut Video Capture software (provided by NCH Software), which allows command driven starting/stopping of recording. Worked well and could save recorded videos in multiple formats. Disadvantage is that it's not free software :(Re: When is video recording being supported in TestComplete?
Tanya, thank you for your reply. What are the experiences with the video recording tools available? Anyone have a good idea of which tool to use for recording video in the background? What settings (videoformat etc), to use? Any ideas and suggestions are welcome...
