While Loops
I'm trying to figure out how to put the following 'While Loop' logic into a Keyword Test. The script works fine, however I need to know how to setup the While Loop statement within the Keyword Test to mirror the While Loop logic in the script. All the other statements I know how to accommodate for but haven't been able to figure out the order in which to key the values into the GUI for the Keyword Test. Loop_Count = 1; while (!(Tables["Stores"].EOF)) { //Returns the value stored in the table field. LastResult = Tables["Stores"]["Values"](Loop_Count, 0); //Selects the item, specified as an index, from 0, or a name. Sys["Process"]("iexplore")["Page"]("*")["NativeWebObject"]["Find"]("id", "*ddlStores_1*", "SELECT")["ClickItem"](LastResult); Sys["Process"]("IEXPLORE")["Page"]("*")["Wait"](); //Enters text in the text box. Sys["Process"]("iexplore")["Page"]("*")["NativeWebObject"]["Find"]("id", "*txt87_1*", "INPUT")["SetText"]("7500"); //Simulates a left-button single click in a window or control as specified (relative position, shift keys). Sys["Process"]("iexplore")["Page"]("*")["NativeWebObject"]["Find"]("id", "*btnPlan*", "INPUT")["Click"](); Sys["Process"]("IEXPLORE")["Page"]("*")["Wait"](); //Posts an image to the test log. Log["Picture"](Aliases["iexplore"]["pageCommonCarrierPortal2"]["formAspnetform"]["tableMastertable"]["Picture"](), "", ""); //Simulates a left-button single click in a window or control as specified (relative position, shift keys). Sys["Process"]("iexplore")["Page"]("*")["NativeWebObject"]["Find"]("id", "*btnCancel*", "INPUT")["Click"](); Sys["Process"]("IEXPLORE")["Page"]("*")["Wait"](); Loop_Count = KeywordTests["Test1"]["Variables"]["Loop_Count"] + 1; }14KViews0likes1CommentRe: aqObject.CheckProperty Usage
I've tried to use the Property Checkpoint, however it uses the Keyword mapping to identify the object. These objects are dynamically created so the mapping changes and breaks the Keyword test. This is the reason I was using the NativeWebObject. I've tried to override the use of the Keyword mapping for the Property Checkpoint, but haven't had any luck. Any suggestions are welcomed.1.7KViews0likes0CommentsaqObject.CheckProperty Usage
Coding the following in the script works correctly, however using the 'Call Object Method' within the Keyword Test and using it does not. Can anyone give an explanation as well as how to alleviate the problem. aqObject.CheckProperty(Sys.Process("IEXPLORE").Page("*").NativeWebObject.Find("id","*rfvPassword","SPAN"), "innerText", 0, "Please enter a Password"); Thanks.16KViews0likes6Comments- 849Views0likes0Comments
TC 8.5 Integration with TFS 2010
I'm having issues when checking scripts into TFS. It is only allowing me to check the files one at a time, which is very time consuming. I've looked in both Test Complete as well as TFS for a possible setting to change, but have found nothing. Is anyone else integrating with TFS?18KViews0likes7Comments
