Re: ALMComplete: End of Life effective on September 30, 2015
Thanks, that's great news. Do you by chance know a timeframe when that may be implemented (or what version)? Also, are there currently any known workarounds for this in QAComplete? We've updated our testing process and are nowtrying to use QAComplete to add more test artifact types(e.g. use cases, data definitions, etc.). This issomewhat difficult because we only have a certain number of traceable object typeto work with in the tool now. Thanks.3.5KViews0likes0CommentsCustom lists and document sharing
Since ALMComplete is at end of life, it would be useful if custom list and shared document capabilities were incorporated into QAComplete. Our project has recently integrated a help desk capability into QAComplete the last year and have re-purposed the "Agile Tasks" area to accomodate this change. It would be nice if we could have use the custom list capability for this. In addition, being able to share test documents would be very helpful.11KViews1like4CommentsRe: ALMComplete: End of Life effective on September 30, 2015
Will the shared documents and list management features be added in a future version of QAComplete? We have QAComplete enterprise and those were the two features we wanted from ALMComplete. Considered an upgrade last year, but were disappointed when we heard about the end of life. Thanks.3.8KViews0likes3CommentsEnforcing Linkages?
I was wondering if anyone had any tips for enforcing linkages in QAComplete. As part of our testing process we want all defects to be linked to a Release and Requirement (at a minimum). No matter how much you train users, if you don'tmake something required, it willbe forgotten a lot of the time. I know you can only enforce required fields, but I wascurious if anyone has attempted to implement some kind of solution to make links required? If not, I would like to suggest this idea as a future enhancement to the product. Thanks.10 years agoPlace QAComplete QuestionsQAComplete Questions1.1KViews0likes0Comments
