Thanks, tried below (VBS)... but doesn't really work, the sub are never called. But if using this format: Set Timer1 = Utils.Timers.Add(10000, TimerTest.TimerRoutine, True) - the TimerRoutine is called, but without any delay.. what's wrong... ------_ EXAMPLE -------- The script name is = TimerTest Sub Main Dim Timer1 Call Log.Message("Main ......started ...") I have a small userform with a START button, which when pressed creates a mdOK, which then triggers a test to be run. Now, if the START is NOT pressed for like 20 seconds, I still want the test to start anyway (using some default settings), how do I do that ?Renaming test logs direct from testcomplete test script
I normally rename the test logs to include e.g. a version number for the application tested like this example: Basic API test - 06-09-2016 - 5.3.01.02 Basic API test - 07-09-2016 - 5.3.03.03 Basic API test - 06-09-2017 - 6.2.103.1102 Basic API test - 07-09-2017 - 6.2.103.1103 .. and so on ... It would be really nice to be able rename the test logs direct from the script, as a last step (or first) step after the test have completed. Hi Joseph TestComplete is installed on my own PC. Zscaler.com tool was installed recently by Company policy, and this is now preventing TestComplete to both access the help index and the forum page. So I need (my company need i.e.) to whitelist the URL(s) that TestComplete uses, so I neeed those from you , please. Exactly same issue here: http://community.smartbear.com/t5/Getting-Started-with/Can-t-load-online-start-page/m-p/114590 (I just thought it was two different issues, but after having our IT support temporary removing the blocking, both issues was resolved), hovever I am not allowed to work without Zscaler, so pls. help asap. BTW: C:\Program Files (x86)\SmartBear\TestComplete 11\Help\TestComplete11.chm, file are not blocked and can open normally.Can't open Help Index page, and then TC 11.20 terminates !
start TC 11.20.1491.7 (latest version) open Help - > Index this happens..... note that the help win are half way out of the viewport, but I can't drag it back in, since it is non responsive... and after a while TC terminates,so I'm stuck here.. can't access any help
