Support for RESCO List Control for Windows Mobile 6.0
Hi All, I want to know whether TestComplete supports RESCO List Control (given in the below URL) for Windows Mobile 6.0 http://www.resco.net/developer/support/samples_advancedlist.aspx I have a Windows Mobile Application created using C#.Net for Windows Mobile 6.0 and it uses above RESCO Control for displaying data in a list but I am not able to reference the rows/cells in that control using TestComplete. If it’s not supported and there is no way to access/test the data inside it presently then do you have any plans for supporting it in near future? - Viresh7.3KViews0likes1CommentRe: is there any setting changes to be done to run the scripts in mobile testing?
Hi All, I am facing the similar issue and my configuration is as follows: I am using "USA Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC R2 Emulator" and TestComplete version 7.52 I have deployed the TestComplete Sample Orders Application in the above Emulator. For me when I start recording, TestComplete opens PDA Controller Window, but it takes minutes for it to respond to any input. Right after TestComplete installs its PDA support files into the Device Emulator. Device emulator starts taking maximum CPU time (80%) however I am giving input for recording only thru PDA Controller. I also don’t see the Red Icon command in Recording Toolbar as mentioned on this page: http://www.automatedqa.com/blogs/post/09-05-19/testing-mobile-applications-%E2%80%93-testcomplete-7/ At the end the script which it generates looks like it references PDA Controller not the application running inside it. A quick reply will be highly appreciated. - Viresh1.8KViews0likes0CommentsUnable to record a test with Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional Emulator
Hi, I am trying to test a Windows Mobile App using "WM 6.0 Professional Emulator" but when I try to add an Application in WinCETestedApps List, I get an error message saying that "The device is not ready or the connection has been lost" and it does NOT open PDA Controller Window while recording a test although it does install PDA Support cab file in emulator after connecting to ActiveSync. I don’t face such issues while testing my App using "WM 5.0 Professional Emulator" and there I can add new Apps and I also get PDA Controller Window while recording a test. According to the following pages on this site TestComplete supports Windows Mobile 6.0: http://www.automatedqa.com/products/testcomplete/testing-pda-apps/ http://www.automatedqa.com/blogs/post/09-05-19/testing-mobile-applications-%E2%80%93-testcomplete-7/ Our Windows Mobile Application targets Windows Mobile 6.0 OS A quick reply will be highly appreciated. -Viresh6.8KViews0likes1Comment
