Extremely slow table cells interaction
Hello. I have problem when trying to interact with an html table cells (~60 rows and 25 columns). The way table looks in “object browser” is the following: Table(0) Cell(0,0) Cell(0,1) Cell(0,…) Cell(1,0) Cell(1,1) Cell(1,2) Cell(…,…) I need to select a row based on search criteria (an array of column names and cell values). So, I implemented some kind of a search mechanism, searching for necessary table row parsing columns one by one. I get all cell objects from a column via FindAllChildren method into array of objects. Then access cell objects one by one searching for necessary text in a cell (I see that this part of code is too slow ((( ). The problem is that it takes extremely much time. So, I wonder if somebody has ideas about the reason or how the speed can be improved.14KViews0likes2CommentsIs there a way to open TC log on the other workstation?
Hello, I work with TC 8.1. For example I have executed a script on one mechine and sent Log folder to the other one. So, I wonder if it's possible to open the log on the other machine if *.mht file was not generated. Thanks18KViews0likes1CommentRe: The direction FindChild method works
Robert, Alex thanks for your answers. But the question is not in how find and separate child object. Not technical aspect - it's easy :). I just wanted to understand search sequence. My first idea was the same as Robert wrote. But it seems that it works vice-versa (it returned Child4) after I did a short experiment.1.2KViews0likes0CommentsThe direction FindChild method works
Hello, I wonder how FindChild method searches an object. Particularly I’m interested in direction (e.g. from top to down, from left to right?). For example I have four objects at the same level relative to parent object. Parent. - name=Child1 -name=Child2 -name=Child3 -name=Child4 Each of them applies to the same search criteria. Let's say parent.FindChild("name","Child*") So, I wonder which will be returned. Thanks in advance.11KViews0likes6CommentsUnable to read file containing unicode characters line by line

I’m getting strange behavior when trying to read a text file containing Unicode characters e.g. hieroglyphs or umlauts. The file is converted to UTF8 format. It works okay and I receive expected data if I try to read whole file: var oFile=aqFileSystem.GetFileInfo("file.txt"); oFile = oFile.ReadWholeTextFile(aqFile.ctUTF8); Log.Message(oFile); But it returns question marks (????) if I try to read the same file line by line: var oFile = aqFileSystem.GetFileInfo("file.txt"); oFile = oFile.OpenTextFile(aqFile.faRead, aqFile.ctUTF8); while(!oFile.IsEndOfFile()){ Log.Message(oFile.ReadLine()); } The file I try to read is attached in archive. Hello, I wonder if it's possible to install TC 8 on Win 2003 server R2 SP2 which is installed on virtual machine? Installation is seemed to be started; but when during installation it starts to do something with HASP it just fails with blue screen (windows error). Attached *.png. After I reboot the machine TC seems to be installed; but hasp is not accessible and it's not possible to start TC executable. I wonder what could be the reason of such behavior and if it's possible to resolve it? Thanks9.7KViews0likes1Comment
