Unbind TestComplete source code from provider using command line.
Hi; Does anyone know if there is a way to unbind the TestComplete project recursively from the source provider throughthe command line. It can be done from the File -> Source Control menu however I need to use it from the command line to create a local sandbox to play in without having to checkout the source code. Thanks for the responses. What my team as done is created an UI application that contains all the possible predefined actions that we require to test our application. The actions themselves are built in TestComplete. Our testers can then create any script they like in the UI applicatin (which becomes the script file I need to add to the project containing the actions). The tester can then run the script on our test machine remotely using TestExecute to validate if the script they created is corrector contains any errors. I think I can find away around having to add the file by simply creating a stub script file that already exists in the TestComplete project and simply replace it using the command line. Thanks again. Hi; I have a VS.Net open application that I am testing on a WindowsXP machine. I am using TC 8.10. The testing script involves setting an validating dells in a ComponentOne flexgrid. In this case the numbe of columns exceeds the space available in the window so I need to scroll to access these columns. To do so I set the VScroll native position property of the grid. The result is the scroll bar moves on the screen but the grid does not slide. This does not happen outside the testing environment. The grid is ComponentOne/C1FlexGrid/2.6.20102.554 Does anyone know what is happening and what I can do? Thanks Sheryl14KViews0likes1CommentRe: WinFormsObject Vs Windows 7, any ideas?
Did anyone find a solution to this. I am having the same issue. I have 2 machines that are setup much the same way(they are both XP SP2 and TestComplete 7.52) and on one machine suddenly it started to use the Windows model and not use the WinFormsObject model. The scripts will not work on the one using the Windows model. I installed Visual Studio 2010 trial and that comes with .NET Framework 4 but I have sinces removed it. I tried everything mentioned above. What next? Thanks1.6KViews0likes0Comments
