Re: Click empty span elements
Please see the attached images, this is the object inspector which I have initiated from the 'Evaluate' menu during a debugging test run. The first image shows the object properties and the second the objects methods. As you can see there isn't a click method shown, is it usual that Test Complete doesn't allow Spans to be clicked?4KViews0likes0Comments- 4KViews0likes0Comments
Click empty span elements
We have a HTML object with the below structure... <span class="glypicon-fast-back"></span> <span class="glypicon-back"></span> <input type="numeric" /> <span class="glypicon-forward"></span> <span class="glypicon-fast-forward"></span> I am selecting the span elements using the QuerySelector("span.glyphicon-back") method and then trying to click the selected element, but the test run fails stating that the element does not support the click method. I have overcome this in the past by changing the selector to include an element within the span, but in this instance there is nothing else to select. Has anyone else seen this issue?5.4KViews0likes10CommentsRe: AngularJS Help/support
We switched to using Angular-UI modal's which inject the HTML in a slightly different way, but also we have moved to mainly using the QuerySelector method to find and action page objects. We use name mapping to map the page element and then use create objects off that e.g. var base = Aliases.browser.myPage; base.querySelector("#myButton").click();3.1KViews2likes0CommentsRe: QuerySelector and "The window was destroyed during the execution method"
I got a colleague of mine to run the same project and it worked fine for him so I uninstalled the Chrome plugin, restarted my machine and then re-installed the plugin and it all started working rather annoyingly :(1.2KViews0likes0CommentsRe: QuerySelector and "The window was destroyed during the execution method"
I'm don't know why the tests have suddenly stopped working though. As you can see from the below my tests consists of three steps on which the third fails with the 'destroyed' error message. Browsers.Item(btChrome).Navigate(diaryAddress); var base = Aliases.browser.clinicsDiary; base.QuerySelector("#locationSelector button").Click(); The page that is loaded in the first step is a static page so shouldn't be changed before the click action is run. Do you have any suggestions?1.2KViews0likes0CommentsQuerySelector and "The window was destroyed during the execution method"
Hello, In my web test project I use the QuerySelector method to select objects on my page. For example... var base = Alias.browser.myPage; base.QuerySelector("#myButton").Click(); This has always worked fine but when I tried to run my test project today I received the error "The Window was destroyed during the method execution" on every step that calls page objects in this way. Following the advice in the error message I put a CheckProperty on the exists property of the button before calling it and this passes so I am not sure why the clicks themselves are failing.4.7KViews0likes7CommentsRe: Welcome TestComplete 9.30
Hi, I've just upgraded to 9.30 and found that my tests are now failing. The problem seems to be finding a website Div which has its display property set to none. I want to validate this property but Test Complete doesn't seem to be able to see the div. This validation worked previously but hasn't since the upgrade.1.6KViews0likes0Comments
