ContributionsMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: NameMapping Issues When Moving from Windows XP to 7Hi, I guess I have a similar problem. I've updated to W7 from XP. My tests run only on XP. I create the scripts in W7. The components are not found on XP when I create the script in W7. They have totaly different class... (I use VCL and devex comps but I have problem with the windows comps. like simple dialog boxes, open file, messages things like that) Is there a nice workaround to deal with it or I just should move back to XP (which I don't really want to) I tried to use the taborder to click the right button (as the dialog has the focus, I have no problem to do that)... it works but I should rather see a more proper solution for this. ThxRe: TE7 want's to change my mds filesEh freaking SVN. The script was updated between test runs! Even if there were no changes, TE7 sees the file as changed. So finally the problem is solved :) cheers Re: TE7 want's to change my mds filesI've even reinstalled the application to test with default install, opened all my project and closed them. Then I checked in the code. Opened the pjs (that the new install saved) then closed it. It does the same thing. The message pops up and the test won;t run till I don't click on the yes/no/yes to all/ no to all It's kinda work stopper for me. I would appreciate fast response :) Thx T TE7 want's to change my mds filesHi, I've have some problem with testexecute 7.5. I have all my code in SVN. (even the pjs and mds files) I check out the latest code, and start TE7 and open a project. But! when the test runs the TE7 says that some files has been modified outside of TE7 or in another editor. Why does my file change in case of just opening and closing mds/psj files? How should I get rid of it. The test will stop as soon the message pops up, and waits for user action. Thx for the help, T Re: Hide-unhide code block bugsI guess the tcCfgExtender file gets corrupt or something. But it keeps doing it. Is there another way to fold the code in vbs in TC7 that really works? Or is there a workaround to do this? (or I should set my extender to readonly and sometimes update it...but it sounds like a solution for a sw made in the 80's... no offense guys...) Re: Hide-unhide code block bugsThe thing is that I am using 7.51 And it happened again ... it's not fun to do all this on 1400+ lines :( Re: Change TC7 files from unicode to asciiThx, I'll look at it! Cheers Change TC7 files from unicode to asciiHi, Is it possible to change the files to have ascii default instead of unicode? (I don't use anything that is unicode in my tests) Thanks for the help Cheers Z Hide-unhide code block bugsHi guys, Am I the only one who is using this feature? It does not work really good :( (and I've been using tc7 a half year now but now I've got tired :D) So my problem is that sometimes it just shifts all folding in the same file. (svb in my case) Another problem is when I remove on single hiding on the top level, so it deletes all the other toplevel and below placed 'nodes'. It's not fun at all when I am editing a 1000+ line code.... Could you suggest anything to solve this problem? (I am using 7.2) Thanx Cheers Z
