TC 8.5 is as far as i can see....an absolute disaster. It crashed at least three times now....it's unable to connect to my slave VMs consistently altough i can verify and run the tasks manually. Hello, I have the exact same problem and after talking to support for a while they recommended upgrading to the 8.5 version ! I haven't done this just yet since 8.5 is fairly new. For anyone who may encounter this problem ! I found an easy fix. YOU MUST BE AN ADMIN ON THE HOSTS IN QUESTION. Since I'm an admin on all my Test VMs, I was able to go in the local policy and clear the Text field which contained the corporate warning :). NOTE: this field will be read only if you are not an admin. sorry :( >> To access this, type gpedit.msc in the run command window. Then go to Computer Configuration >> Windows Settings >> Security Settings >> Local policies >> Security options >> double click "Interactive Logon: Message text for users attempting to log on" then clear the text field containing the message ! Hi, The Encyption and security option doesn't exist in my case. Perhaps a new role or feature must be installed to enable it. This is server 2k8 by the way. Basically, when Test complete tries to connect, the Legal bla bla bla that corporate displays before the login screen is displayed requires the end user to click ok before moving on. TC gets stuck on this step and eventually times out.. So what's the solution ? Has anyone had this problem ? hosts in question have server 2k8 and win 7 pro. Thanks10KViews0likes2Comments
