I am trying if we can run our project suite via Test Execute only on any test base machine or on VM. Therefore I tried with trial version of Test Execute. Do you know if there is a link, from where I can download any previous version of Test Execute like 8.20. Right now, I can only see Test Execute 9.0 So that comes in my mind if Test execute versions has backward or forward compatibility to Test Complete when we talk about configuring the Firewall to allow their services to run. I thnk this will be very important to any client. Thanks for your first reply, Amir Compatibility support among various ver of Test Execute, and TestComplete Hi, I have floating license of TestComplete 8.20 (standard edition) on Win 7. I created some test scripts. Now I would like to execute these scripts via Test Execute 9 ( trial version), only if that works while the firewall is on. I followed your guidelines in this to allow two programs/services via Firewall, that are 1. TestCompleteService9.exe from (<TestExecute>\Bin\TestComplete9.exe) 2. Load Testing Agent -- ras.exe (<TestComplete\Ras\Bin\ras.exe>) I have doubts if that work because neither I have TestComplete9, and nor the installed version TestComplete8.20 have -- ras.exe Issue is that, I could not find the TestExecute 8.20 ( a matched version) on smartbear website. So how can I configure the firewall in such situation with mismatched version of TestExecute? Or is there any limitation. I did not find any dependency in installation guide. Thanks, Amir Screen resolution issue on different os like Winxp Vs Win 7 when playback.. using Test Complete 8In case of a 3D drawing in AutoCad, where user can select or click single or multiple design elements; how many ways to record it properly?
