Re: How to capture menubar in MDI App?
I checked this topic and found some information from our developer. This menu bar is another third party control. I also checked the list of third party vendors that TC supports. Unfortunately, our component is not in this list. So, I think that my current solution is use key combination, for example, instead of clicking File -> Exit, I will use Alt-F, then press hot key "x". Hi all, I have a question as below: My UAT is written in VB 6. It's MDI application. When I tried to capture menubar in TestComplete, TC recognizes it as VBObject. Please see the attached pictures. However, I have another question: How do I call another function place in another file, for example, in General from Sub Main? Dear GennadiyAlpae, I added your sample app under the TestApps node. Please see the attached picture. However, the error still happens when executed test script. I put your function in a separate file named "General". In my sample file, e.g. "Login", I called this function in Sub Main like this Sub Main ' Enter your code here.
