Send Binary Data in REST Request
I am looking for a way to send a Protocol Buffer request using a REST Request. The content type for the request is application/x-protobuf. I have written a groovy script that creates a byte array representing the request. My question is how do I set the request body to this byte array ? Looking at the general properties API, I see that they all work on strings and I don't see a way to set a property value to a byte array. Is there a way to set the request body content ? (You can do this using property expansion for only strings) Thank you, Rahul3.4KViews0likes3Comments- 592Views0likes0Comments
SOAPUI Project Files in svn
Hello, We are planning to maintain our SOAP UI project file in subversion. In each of our test requests we need to update the session id during execution. This causes the file to be updated for each test execution. I would rather not save in subversion if the change is only session id. However detecting that is very difficult especially if you have made other test related changes. Are there mechanisms for dealing with this. How have other people who are maintaining the SOAP UI files in subversion dealt with this ? Looking forward to hearing some thoughts. I want to understand how to read the test suite coverage reported by SOAPUI. I have read the documentation at http://www.soapui.org/userguide/coverage.html. However, I don't understand what the different numbers under the contract coverage column mean. I my case I have the following number reported against a test case for a web service operation: 18% (2%) 43/241 (mix of red and green color bars) So does this mean that the total request/response element count for this operation is 241 and I have exercised 43 of them ? What is the 2% number ? 18%I think is 43/241. Also in many cases it is not possible to use all the request and response elements in a single test request. Does the coverage calculation inspect all the test requests when reporting the test case coverage ? Thank you and I look forwarding to hearing from you. Best regards, Rahul Phadnis (I am using soap ui 3.0.1 pro and I have looked at soap ui 3.5 beta2 pro)1.1KViews0likes1Comment
