start and end times when executing loadTest from SoapUI
My test scenario has three steps. 1. R2W_Search_Req: Executes webservice search request that fetches results. 2. Property Transfer: Takes searchResultID and 'prop2' from 1 passes to third step 3. R2W_VersionMetaData: Another WS call handle the final request. Now I have to run this single test scenario (including all three steps) concurrently for 20 users. Have used load test to do this. Following are my questions: 1. When I configure 20 threads in load test can I assume these requests run in parallel? 2. Right now from load test I get min,max, avg at each step which is an aggregate over 20 concurrent users (assuming I have configured 20 threads). I need start/end time for each step for each thread execution. Is this doable through UI during configuration of my load test? (did not find any documentation that talks about start/end time from loadTest). Are there any other possible ways though some scripting etc. Thanks,1.3KViews0likes0Commentsstart and end times for each request for each thread
Have a load test for my webservice call (having three steps). Scenario to run the tests for concurrent 20 users - so chose a thread count of 10. Now I need to find out a way so that I can get the start/end times for each of these three steps when test gets executed by a single thread(1 user). Have a load test (which consists of three test steps) when I run the tests. It gives me 'min'. 'max' , 'avg' times. Would like to find out how much time each request has taken in a concurrent scenario (having 20 threads say). Can I get the timing when each of my step is started and ends for each thread? Our application publishes(from browser) files into various folders. Each file has a publish date - these dates are automated and they used to work fine. I am running into issues where dates on getting selected afte selecting a month and year. Calendare Image <Prev> Current Month-Year <Next> 1 2 3 4 ..... ... 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 Here I am able to select prev and traverse correctly to the month. But the code which selects month is failing (note this used to work perfectly on IE8 and TC8) My code sample is here: function clickDate(date,format,page,monthNum) //Click the date on calendar { yearNow = aqDateTime.GetYear(r2wdate); monthNow = aqDateTime.GetMonth(r2wdate); yearFinal = aqDateTime.GetYear(format); monthFinal = aqDateTime.GetMonth(format); var yeardiff = aqConvert.IntToStr(yearNow) - aqConvert.IntToStr(yearFinal); ................... if(monthdiff > 0){ counter = 12*yeardiff + monthdiff; for (i =1;i <=counter;i++){ page.NativeWebObject.Find("title","Previous month","IMG").Click(); } var date1 = page.NativeWebObject.Find("innerText",date); <<<< FAILS HERE >>>> values = date1.parent.FindAll("innerText",date); <<<<<<<<<< values = VBArray(values).toArray(); for (var i=0; i<values.length; i++){ if (values.outerHTML.indexOf(format) != -1){ value = values; break } } value.Click(); } .... } Thanks for any suggestions,6.5KViews0likes1CommentRe: IE10 and testComplete9
Problem that I am facing is trying to find an child object (file2)after finding an parent object(folder) on page1. Example: on page->folder1->file1, file2, file3 folder2-> test1. test2. test3 folder3->subfolder1, subfolder2 I can find folder1, folder2 and folder3 but cannot find file1, file2 and file2 from folder2 Sample code that failes on IE10 with TC9 1. image2 = page.NativeWebObject.Find("title","Match Rules","IMG"); 2. image2.click(); 3. page.refresh(); 4. var b = page.NativeWebObject.Find("innerText","pq* ", "A"); 5. b.click(); line4 cannot find the object. Please note that this worked fine on IE9 and TC8 and also with IE10 and TC9. Thanks!1.2KViews0likes0CommentsRe: IE10 and testComplete9
Problem still continues: It helped me partially - but the main code to traverse objects in a page b = page.NativeWebobject.Find("innerHTML","PQ* ", "A"); is still failing. Above solution helped me not to worry about 'depth' while calling Sys.Process("iexplore", depth); Thanks, -Nishi1.2KViews0likes0CommentsRe: IE10 and testComplete9
I've used the same piece of code earlier on TC8 and IE9 and it used to work like a charm. So I believe the syntax and notation is fine and I also checked with Object Browser. One difference I noticed on FullName of the object under Object Browser Sys.Process("iexplopre") has an extra argument Sys.Process("iexplore", 2). Thanks, -Nishi1.2KViews0likes0Comments
