Re: Is it possible to distribute SoapNG tests within our own cloud?
Could you please clarify what you mean by "Pro features" as I was under the impression that there was no non-pro version of SoapNG/ReadyAPI.......... Our company develops AWS solutions and for some of these we need to use SoapUI 5.1.2to test various API's (although we are upgrading to SoapNG slowly). We would like to be able to distribute the requests within our own cloud solution and there seems very little information about this on your site - all the links simply point me to purchasingdifferent application licenses. My question therefore is, if we want to distribute our requests across a number of servers, would all those servers requirefull installation and licensing of ReadyAPI/SoapNG? I understand that you have LoadUI/NG agents available, but we specifically want to use SoapUI/NG for this work. Hiya I'm running a thread stress test from 250 to 2500 virtual users on an AWS m1-xlarge instance (15gb ram, 4 CPU's, 64bit) and we have adjusted the working memory over 4GB for for SoapUI. We are not seeing any memory issues, but the application is hanging at over 90% CPU and higher. Is there any config change I can make to stop this? We have tried using LoadUI instead but for some reason the latest releases will not install on this machine, and 2.1.1 is only 32bit and when we receive multiple errors it has memory issues. We have an urgent need to run a 3hr max 2500 user stress test but I can't seem to get either app to work with any level of confidence. I have attached my most recent soapui-errors.log for reference. many thanks11 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions1.6KViews0likes1CommentRe: [Resolved]Remove Nodes from XML request - Groovy help needed
Well I surprised myself and make my Groovy step work The code used for anyone else looking to do the same was: def grUtils = new com.eviware.soapui.support.GroovyUtils(context) def ReqHolder = grUtils.getXmlHolder("completeBooking#Request") ReqHolder.removeDomNodes('//cfb:completeBooking_RQ[1]/ota:PriceInfo[1]/ota:PTC_FareBreakdowns[1]/ota:PTC_FareBreakdown[1]/ota:PassengerFare[1]/ota:TotalFare[1]') //removes Fare Node ReqHolder.removeDomNodes('//cfb:completeBooking_RQ[1]/ota:PriceInfo[1]/ota:PTC_FareBreakdowns[1]/ota:PTC_FareBreakdown[1]/ota:PassengerFare[1]/ota:FareBaggageAllowance[1]') //removes first FareBaggageAllowance node ReqHolder.removeDomNodes('//cfb:completeBooking_RQ[1]/ota:PriceInfo[1]/ota:PTC_FareBreakdowns[1]/ota:PTC_FareBreakdown[1]/ota:PassengerFare[1]/ota:FareBaggageAllowance[1]') //removes second FareBaggageAllowance node ReqHolder.removeDomNodes('//cfb:completeBooking_RQ[1]/ota:PriceInfo[1]/ota:PTC_FareBreakdowns[1]/ota:PTC_FareBreakdown[2]/ota:PassengerFare[1]/ota:TotalFare[1]') //removes Fare Node ReqHolder.removeDomNodes('//cfb:completeBooking_RQ[1]/ota:PriceInfo[1]/ota:PTC_FareBreakdowns[1]/ota:PTC_FareBreakdown[2]/ota:PassengerFare[1]/ota:FareBaggageAllowance[1]') //removes first FareBaggageAllowance node ReqHolder.removeDomNodes('//cfb:completeBooking_RQ[1]/ota:PriceInfo[1]/ota:PTC_FareBreakdowns[1]/ota:PTC_FareBreakdown[2]/ota:PassengerFare[1]/ota:FareBaggageAllowance[1]') //removes second FareBaggageAllowance node ReqHolder.updateProperty() Very proud of myself and thankful for Google and this forum12 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions2.6KViews0likes0Comments[Resolved]Remove Nodes from XML request - Groovy help needed
Hiya I am working on a test case that uses a property transfer step to move a nodeset from a completed request into another request step. What I need to do before running the next request is to remove some elements of the transferred data but I can't seem to work out the Groovy script required to delete the unwanted nodes following. The request message I want to adjust is: <ota:PTC_FareBreakdown> <ota:PassengerTypeQuantity Code="ADT" Quantity="2"/> <ota:FareBasisCodes> <ota:FareBasisCode FlightSegmentRPH="1">CIF</ota:FareBasisCode> <ota:FareBasisCode FlightSegmentRPH="2">CIF</ota:FareBasisCode> </ota:FareBasisCodes> <ota:PassengerFare> <ota:BaseFare Amount="6927.00" CurrencyCode="GBP" DecimalPlaces="2"/> <ota:Taxes> <ota:Tax TaxCode="GB" Amount="134.00"/> <ota:Tax TaxCode="UB" Amount="39.75"/> <ota:Tax TaxCode="AY" Amount="1.60"/> <ota:Tax TaxCode="US" Amount="22.60"/> <ota:Tax TaxCode="XA" Amount="3.30"/> <ota:Tax TaxCode="XY" Amount="4.60"/> <ota:Tax TaxCode="YC" Amount="3.60"/> <ota:Tax TaxCode="XF" Amount="2.90"/> </ota:Taxes> <ota:TotalFare Amount="7139.35" CurrencyCode="GBP" DecimalPlaces="2"/> <ota:UnstructuredFareCalc>LHR <> EWR5220.76CIF <> LHR5220.77CIF NUC10441.53END ROE0.663408</ota:UnstructuredFareCalc> <ota:FareBaggageAllowance FlightSegmentRPH="1" UnitOfMeasureQuantity="" UnitOfMeasure=""/> <ota:FareBaggageAllowance FlightSegmentRPH="2" UnitOfMeasureQuantity="" UnitOfMeasure=""/> <ota:Remark>TKTG AGREEMENT DOES NOT EXIST FOR <> SEE >DX*TA</ota:Remark> <ota:Remark>LAST TKT DATE 23MAY13-DATE OF ORIGIN</ota:Remark> <ota:Remark>UNABLE TO VERIFY BOOKING DATE</ota:Remark> <ota:Remark>- DATE OF ORIGIN</ota:Remark> <ota:Remark>NO BAGGAGE DISCLOSURE DATA FOR THIS REQUEST</ota:Remark> <ota:Remark>IATA FARES USED FOR PRICING</ota:Remark> </ota:PassengerFare> </ota:PTC_FareBreakdown> Where, for instance, I need to remove the <ota:TotalFare Amount="7139.35" CurrencyCode="GBP" DecimalPlaces="2"/> node altogether. I will have multiple of the <ota:PTC_FareBreakdown> nodesets in the request and need to remove the same data in all of them. Can anyone help me with an easy script for this as I'm a newbie to Groovy scripting. thanks in advance. Hi All, I'm having problems with my SoapUI workspace and it refuses to load with a java error.{Attached image} This all started when I started to use the Default workspace to load in projects. When the default workspace crashed, it refused to load any workspace so I went into the C drive and created a default workspace myself and backed up the old default workspace. This worked temporarily and from then on, I started naming the workspaces so that the default one still loads irrespective of the crash. But Off late, I seem to have this problem very often almost once in 2 weeks. I'm attaching the following to this thread: 1. SoapUI Workspace Crash Error 2. Default Workspace 3. Crashed Workspace Has any one faced this issue or know of a solution to fix this? Please help.. Many Thanks!12 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions2.6KViews0likes4Comments
