Missing test case steps in Zephyr Scale after importing CSV
Problem Statement: When I import csv files into Zephyr Scale to create test cases, the step details (Test Script (Step-by-Step) - Step, Test Script (Step-by-Step) - Test Data, Test Script (Step-by-Step) - Expected results) are missing. Steps to recreate Export test cases from Zephyr Scale in an existing Jira project and save as CSV. Create a new test case folder in Zephyr Scale in a new Jira project. Import the CSV into the new test case folder. Data mapping is exactly the same, because the source is existing Zephyr Scale test case folder. Expected Test cases have been imported into the new Jira project with new Key IDs. Each test cases includes steps (Test Script (Step-by-Step) - Step, Test Script (Step-by-Step) - Test Data, Test Script (Step-by-Step) - Expected results) Actual Test cases have been imported into the new Jira project with new Key IDs. The are no steps. "Test Script (Step-by-Step) - Step", "Test Script (Step-by-Step) - Test Data" and "Test Script (Step-by-Step)" - Expected results are all blank. Has anyone encountered this before. In my specific scenario, some team member need to notify others, upon the completion a test step within a test case, in order to trigger other actions. In Azure DevOps, we'd use the comment section in the test case to tag other team members, By using the "@" sign we could add their name to the comment, triggering an email notification to the recipient. Such a feature would be in Zephyr Scale is highly desirable. This is a feature that SmartBear needs to look into, because a lot of competitor applications can do it.
