Zephyr Squad BDD - Adding a scenario fails because 'Description' is required
Hi I just starting out using the BDD feature in Zephyr Squad but when I try to enter the a scenario I get a pop up error message saying: {"description":"Description is required"} I've read that a feature is a "Story" type issue and a scenario is a "test" type issue but in our project "Description" is set as a required field for both stories and tests, but I don't know how to show the description field to be able to populate it for the "scenario". Any help resolving this would be most greatly appreciated. TIA Kay Note : Description is displayed for the main story/feature
How to generate JWT TOKEN from Postman
Hi Doug & Team, There seems to be some confusion. Kindly help me out here as soon as possible. My issue is How to generate JWT token from Postman itself. I have SecretKey, access Key, AccoutnId, Zephyr base URL also. Please just guide me how to use these details to generate JWT token from Postman. I am not talking about usage of the JWT TOKEN. I am asking about the process of generating JWT token via Postman. Thank you
Cannot see 'test script' in create test
Hi, When I try to create a single test case using 'Create' and Issue type 'Test' there is no place to add the test steps. However if I were to import a couple tests using Zephyr sqaud's import function it is available as a field. Why is the test steps section not availabe in Create Issue of type Test? Also, there is no section panel to add a folder. Regards, Archie"Internal Server Error" 500 code on using Save and Execute API
I have been getting an "Internal Server Error" (500 code) whenever I'm trying to use the save and execute API ( https://prod-vortexapi.zephyr4jiracloud.com/api/v1/automation/job/saveAndExecute) to upload the test execution reports. Access to external users
Hello, I am working for a non profit organization and ours is open source code. So we have few questions regarding security and access to the testing artifacts within Jira/Zephyr. 1. Are there any aspects of the testing that can be made openly available to external users, here external means usersoutside the project/not part of the project. 2. Is there a way to make Testing data accessible to most appropriate users only? Not to all jira users? 3. Canot import test cases from Excel to Zepyrl
I'm trying to import test cases from excel spreadhseet to Zyphyr Squad with 4 fields mapped 'Test case name', 'Description' , 'Channel' and 'Use case'. When i import its failing with this error. Please advice. Installing the new Zephyr Squad version
Hi guys, I have a question regarding the new Zephyr Squad version. I am an existing user on the old version of Zephyr and I was wondering if I were to uninstall our current version of Zephyr, would I then be able to install the new version? So far Zephyr has not really been put to use, only for practice purposes. Uninstalling / no data migration wouldn't be an issue. Thanks in advance! Tessa
Zephyr SQUAP Rest API to expoert execution not exporting csv in correct format
Hi, I am using Zephyr Squad REST API to export test cycle with all test & steps. I tried with both Rest API endpoints to extract the file & I am able to extract the csv https://zephyrsquad.docs.apiary.io/#reference/execution/export-executions/export-executions?console=1 https://zephyrsquad.docs.apiary.io/#reference/cycle/export-cycle/export-cycle?console=1 Issue is that csv extracted using these end points is getting distorted as shown in SS below. After Priority Column, there is "Executed By" for which value is appearing in Date format which is obviously not correct and also a new line is inserted in csv after priority field.
