Jira getting stuck while trying to create a test in Zephyr squad

Jira getting stuck while trying to create a test in Zephyr squad(Only while using "Create a Test" icon in Zephy SQuad)

  • You are missing Test issue type. Follow the steps below:

    1. Go to your project -> Project Settings -> Issues -> Types -> Here please check whether you have the "Test" issuetype added or not.Screenshot attached. If the Test issuetype is not added, kindly drag and drop the Test issue type to your project. Now try to Create a Test. If still the issue, then proceed with the below steps:

    2. Go to your JIRA Administration -> Apps -> Zephyr Squad (left panel) -> General Information page. Here search for your project and you should see the id for Zephyr Test issue type id. If don't find the id and you are getting "No association found for the project" message, then kindly perform the below steps:
    a) Go to Manage apps -> Search for Zephyr Squad -> Expand.
    b) Unsubscribe -> Uninstall -> Reinstall the Zephyr Squad plugin.
    c) Go to your JIRA Administration -> Apps -> Zephyr Squad (left panel) -> General Configuration page --> Scroll down -> Clear Server cache..

    3. After the above, go to JIRA Administration -> Apps -> Zephyr Squad (left panel) -> General Information page. Select your project where you added the Test issue type -> now you should see the proper Test issue type id.
