Re: What would cause soapuios#####.jar files to fill in my TEMP directory and not be cleaned up?
You can try to limit read access to the folderC:\Users\<LOGIN>\.soapuios\plugins and it should solve few problems. This one and additionally: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.eviware.soapui.plugins.auto.factories.AutoDiscoveryMethodFactory at java.net.URLClassLoader.findClass(Unknown Source) ...1.6KViews0likes0CommentsRe: GUI crashes - menu bar is invisible and problems with popup windows
There was issue and correlation with Oracle Single SignOn. We had to disable/kill it during soapUI start. When it was off then everything was fine (at least from GUI point of view).8 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions1.4KViews0likes0CommentsGUI crashes - menu bar is invisible and problems with popup windows
Hi all, I got problem with Ready API! 1.7. When I open it there are problems with showing content of popup windows and application menu bar is missing. In running log I see lot of similar exceptions (one of logs in attachment): java.lang.Error at javax.swing.UIDefaults.getUIError(UIDefaults.java:730) ... In GUI it results with something like below. You can see in the middle broken popup window with a question "Exit Ready! API?" and I don't have any chance to answer it. Additionally there is no menu bar so I can't access many functions and keyboard shortcuts also doesn't work (so I can't import projects, can't save, can't open existing one). Did anyone of you experienced something similar in the past? Is there any workaround? A friend of mine says it can be related to the Oracle SSO but I don't have any chance to disable it. Some background: Everything was OK up to the last week when I've removed from my machine all the JREs except 1.6.0.45 (I had 1.7.0.73, 1.8.0.87 and the newest was always set as system default one). I got a couple of JDKs. Anyway it shouldn't be a problem as I'm using Ready API distributed with own JRE. Env details: - JRE 1.6.0.45 as default at system level - JAVA_HOME = C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_73 - JRE_HOME = C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_73\jre - Windows 7 x64 - 16 GB RAM - Ready API 1.7 32b, distributed with own JRE Problem is the same for all Ready API 1.7 versions and combinations of variants: - x64 - 32b - with own JRE - without Command to run Ready API looks like: "C:\dev\ReadyAPI-1.7.0-win32\bin\..\jre\bin\java" -Xms128m -Xmx900m -XX:MinHeapFreeRatio=20 -XX:MaxHeapFreeRatio=40 -Dsoapui.properties=soapui.properties -Dgroovy.source.encoding=iso-8859-1 "-Dsoapui.home=C:\dev\ReadyAPI-1.7.0-win32\bin\\" -splash:ready-api-splash.png -Dsun.net.http.allowRestrictedHeaders=true -Dsoapui.ext.libraries="C:\dev\ReadyAPI-1.7.0-win32\bin\ext" -Dsoapui.ext.listeners="C:\dev\ReadyAPI-1.7.0-win32\bin\listeners" -Dsoapui.ext.actions="C:\dev\ReadyAPI-1.7.0-win32\bin\actions" -Djava.library.path="C:\dev\ReadyAPI-1.7.0-win32\bin\\" -Dwsi.dir="C:\dev\ReadyAPI-1.7.0-win32\bin\..\wsi-test-tools" -cp "C:\dev\ReadyAPI-1.7.0-win32\bin\ready-api-ui-1.7.0.jar;C:\dev\ReadyAPI-1.7.0-win32\bin\..\lib\*;C:\dev\ReadyAPI-1.7.0-win32\bin\..\.install4j\*" com.smartbear.ready.ui.ReadyApiMai1.5KViews0likes2Comments- 9 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions4.4KViews1like4Comments

Re: How to use relative path for keystore (WS-Security Configuration)
There is quite similar situation with access to keystores when you are using absolute paths in universal (file:///c:/...) format. Ready! API 1.6 (20160215-1916) can't read it. It starts to work when path is back to clear WinStyle - c:/.... Other thing is with mocks using WSS and keystores which you deploy on application server (i.e. Tomcat). It can't access it using relative or relative with ${projectDir} paths even if it is located in the same folder as the soapUI project file.9 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions9.6KViews0likes3CommentsRe: Support for signature using secretkey
There is a lot of problems and bugs with WSS support in soapUI/soapUI PRO/Ready! API but you can try workaround for JCEKS support. Use Portecle and convert JCEKS to JKS which more or less works fine with soapUI.9 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions2.9KViews0likes0CommentsRe: call to jms fails after upgrade
With current nightbuild there is one more issue. When you run it in GUI mode and try to open any project, it disappear from project list. There is one more issue. There is missing menu bar (this standard application menu, just below Ready! API image in top left corner). Hard to check anything else. I have the same problems as friends above. I run Ready! API 1.5.0 (20151106-1037) under Windows 7 Prof and JRE 1.8.0.66 and trying to reach JMS located on Weblogic Server. In attachments you will find stack from Error tab (jmsStack.log), always the same. I'm trying to connect to JMS in multiple ways, from Groovy scripts and stack occures in this code in the last line: import com.eviware.soapui.impl.wsdl.submit.transports.jms.JMSConnectionHolder import com.eviware.soapui.impl.wsdl.submit.transports.jms.util.HermesUtils import com.eviware.soapui.impl.wsdl.submit.transports.jms.JMSEndpoint import hermes.Hermes import javax.jms.* def ProjectJMSEndPoint = context.expand( '${#Project#JMSEndPoint}' ) /*get jmsEndpoint*/ def jmsEndpoint = new JMSEndpoint(ProjectJMSEndPoint) /*static hermes.Hermes*/ def hermes = HermesUtils.getHermes( context.testCase.testSuite.project, jmsEndpoint.sessionName) It also occures when I try to connect through existing JMS test step. When I try to add new one, go through first few screens and select option to create a new endpoint, Hermes starts without any problem and sees all the queues but in Ready! API I see only something like in Capture.PNG. Hermes runs without any problem, discovers new queues, reads from it and so on - screen hermes.PNG. There are two more logs from Ready! API directory - hermes.log: 1) without lib folder in Ready! API root folder 2) with lib folder in Ready! API root folder and with some libs straight from hermes\lib\ext Let me know if there is something more that I can do to help you find solution and prepare bugfix.9 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions2.6KViews0likes3Comments
