Hi,
I would be grateful for information
Is there a gadget in Zephyr that I can use to present Cycles and defects in it?

Hi,

There are probably many gadgets you could use for this purpose.  For example, try the "Zephyr Scale - Test Execution - Test execution results (progress)" gadget, and use the Filter option of "Test Cycle" (then choose the test cycle(s) you want to report.  This will show a donut chart for the test cycle(s) you select, broken down by execution status.  If you want to focus on a particular status you can turn-off (click) the statuses you don't want to see, or...

If you need something more specific, the filter option of Custom Query is even more powerful and you can add criteria from Test Cases, Plans, Cycles, or Executions.  In the example above where you don't want to view executions that have passed, you would add criteria into the Execution Result where it doesn't = Pass.

Let us know if this info worked for you?

Thank you for the information but that is not what I meant.
I need to have a gadget on which I can show the status of Cycle and reported BUGs for specific cycles

It's difficult to say without more information.  Are you looking for something like this?:

Test Cycle 1 - % executed, %pass, %fail, etc.

Bugs found (list of)

Test Cycle 2 - % executed, %pass, %fail, etc.

Bugs found (list of)

Something like this

I'd like to see:
Cycle - number of defects reported in a cycle

Hi,

The first reply I sent is a solution for what you need - it will report the number of defects (Fails) in a test cycle.  I've attached an example.  If you just want to see Fails only in that chart you can either click on the items that you don't want to appear (click on the text in the legend), or, use the Custom Query option and set the criteria for Test Execution [Result] to only show fail statuses.  Both of these approaches will work for many of the dashboard gadgets so it's worth trying a few others to see if one of those is a better fit for you.

Another option which I prefer is to configure the Cycles homepage as a report (attachment 2 & 3).  This allows you to have an overview of all test cycles that you want to display (you can control using the filter) with status, number of tests, issues, etc.  The two attachments I've added are for the Server version (larger image) and Cloud version (smaller image).

Does this work for you?

What does the Blockage column report? Is it the number of blocked scenarios or the number of defects in a cycle?

I don't know where you are referring to in the system but there is a status of Blocked.

The Blocked status can be set with or without an Issue being created so to answer your question, it could be both - it's up to you.

I ask my testers to create an Issue if they are setting the status of a test case to Blocked so that I can track and manage the blockage as an issue.

Please tell me if you are using the server version or claud
and which version it is

I am currently using Cloud version 1.0.61-AC but have used Server too.

I think the suggestions I made work for both types
