Does Zephyr support both test script types Step-by-Step and Plain Text for same version of test case

I am using Zephyr Scale integrated with Jira and created a test case. I selected Plain Text as Test Script type for a test case, I wrote some test information in it and clicked Save.

Then for the same test case, I selected Step-by-Step as Test Script type and I wrote some test steps in it and clicked Save.

Now when I choose Plain Text as Test Script type for that test case, it is blank and I am not able to see test information that I entered earlier.

Is it not possible to have both Test Script types for same version of a test case Step-by-Step and Plain Text?

Hi,

I think you are right, the screen only allows 1 type of Test Script type to be used.  For me this makes sense.  It risks that one of the versions of the script differs to the other and could affect the test execution results.  There are other plain text fields in the Details screen of the test case that might suit your purpose and those also show on screen in the Test Player for testers when they are executing their scripts.  Not sure if that's of much help to you though.

Good luck!
