Can you copy a test case in one folder (same project) to another folder?

Is it possible to copy (NOT MOVE) one test case from folder 1 to folder 2?

If so, assuming you make an update to the test case in folder 1, will the updates all be made to the same test case in folder 2?

(Please see attached snapshot.)

  • Hi Curious ,

select the test case using its check box and then click "More" and choose "Clone". This will give you a clone (copy) of your test case (with the suffix "(cloned)" in the name) in the same folder which you can then move to the new folder by drag and drop.

Since this way you create a clone, any changes you make to either one of these test cases will only be applied to that test case and not the other.

    Cheers
