unable to record script

I tried to record (both script and keyword), installation of one windows based application. but failing to record it. and its creating blank function if I record. For the same application I have written script to install, but I can see in Images its trying to click on buttons. But actually any operation is not happening in the application. I have attached screenshot for the same. What could be the reason?

    Check that you can see installer process in the Object Browser.
    Also make sure that start both TC and installer by the same user.

    Do you have Desktop module installed on TestComplete?

        Another thing:


         

        In Tools -> Current Project Properties, in the General section, there is an option "Record user actions over tested applications only".  This setting, if checked, will have TestComplete ignore any actions recorded against applications that are not defined within the TestedApps project  element.  So, if that setting is checked and the processes you are attempting to interact with are not defined as TestedApps, you'll get that behavior.

        Double check that option and, if it's checked, uncheck it and try again.
