reset highlighting
I downloaded an .acnfg file from the site to change my code editor background to a dark theme, now it's completely messed up.
How do I restore it?

what do you mean by "completely messed up".? by importing .acnfg file you only change themes and highlighting no code were changed.
didn't you exported existing scheme ? it's advisable always have a backup or fall back option what ever changes you do.
