Testing embedded 3D modelling software

Hi there,

I am wondering what way Smartbear would advise on testing embeded 3D CAD-like modelling software. I have not seen this answered on any recent posts directly.

I have seen https://support.smartbear.com/testcomplete/docs/testing-with/object-identification/image-based/tutor... recommended on other posts. Would this combined with clicking and dragging at coordinates on the 3D model window work?

What would be the best way?
